What baggage? That she and her friends pulled out a Ouiji board on a Friday night in high school? That she actually took years to pay off education loans? That she has had trouble with a mortgage when millions of others also have? Some have incredible standards that demand perfection, because any tiny mistake in life gets magnified and blown out of proportion. Then, some on our side love to jump on those issues and declare a candidate unelectable. She did well in this debate and should have a shot in a year where long shots seem to pull out unpredicted wins. No one ever said she would win easily, or even have a 50% chance, but our own side is doing her in, not the left.
What baggage?
Try falsifying her resume for starters. And I don't care if she had student loans to pay off - that's not a mark against her. But lying about it by claiming a degree before she had it, along with inflating multiple other claims such as the line about obtaining a certification from Oxford, is indeed a problem. It suggests she has an issue with being forthright and truthful. And that is baggage I'd rather not have from our candidates.
