1. Our federal government posts signs 80 miles inside the U. S. border warning its citizens they are not safe to be on the soil of their own country.

2. Our federal government "hides" its own citizens to protect them from an enemy which it fails to recognize as an "enemy."

Why does it not, instead, devote its full force to protecting American citizens and to making it clear to the enemy/terrorists that they will be destroyed whenever/wherever they act against a United States citizen?

Does any other sovereign nation on the face of the earth behave so cavalierly when there are threats to its national interest or its citizens?
