WHY DON'T RICH LIBERALS VOLUNTARILY PAY 39% (vanity)

Many of us know rich liberals who shout " the rich must pay their fair share" or " we need to raise taxes on the rich" or " no tax cuts for the rich". Even if we don't know anyone personally we know celebrities and politicians that shout the talking points. My question is however, why don't Jon Liebowitz, Joy Behar pay 39% now? Or why doesn't Obama pay 39% now. John Kerry docks his yacht in Rhode Island to avoid taxes but demands higher taxes. Many of us also know rich liberals that use every tax scam or write off or run cash businesses and declare bupkiss and pay low rates but demand salaried people pay more. Many of us know rich liberals, whose home , car vacations etc are a " business expense" but demand eveyone else pay more. Shouldn't they put their money where their mouth is?

Heck, they don’t even want to pay the reduced taxes that they owe as a result of the Bush tax cuts. (See Daschle, Rangle, Turbo Tax Timmy, and about half of Zero’s staff.)

Our neighbor in Virginia outside of Washington D.C. was a typical tax and spend liberal, who for years registered his vehicle in Oregon to avoid the Virginia car tax.

It is just a way of life for them. Taxes are for YOU to pay!

Sort of like Kerry and him docking his boat where he would avoid local taxes.

In MA the income tax was reduced from 5.8 to 5.3 per cent but people can choose on their income tax forms to pay at the higher rate. Very few do. You’d think the libs who complain about a lack of revenue would “check that box”.

Because they pay millions in attorney’s fees/accounting fees to keep from paying any taxes!

Yes, they are liberal hypocrites hiding behind their wish for us to pay more in taxes for their pet projects.

They talk a good game but they aren’t about to put any money where their mouth is.

All they have to do is go to the IRS website and click the donation button. Absolutely nothing is stopping them.

This is why we don't need tax payer paid government social programs. Wealthy liberals ( Kerry's, Kennedy's, Obomas, Reid's, Pelosis, Clinton's......) who believe in them can simply donate and take care of the issues that concern them. Those who wish to support other things, can. Those who chose to support nothing can do that as well.

We'd be a free country again if this where the way we did it. This is what we need to get back to - charity.

Excellent point. O’Reilly mentioned this in2004 and also mentioned that Kerry opted for the lesser tax.

I heard a guy call in last week, I think on Hannity claiming to make over 200,000 and he was happy to have the tax cuts end. The host nailed him about taking the tax cuts in the first place, because there is no law saying he has to. He could have paid over what he was intitled to pay, or he could have claimed fewer deductions if he thought the government should have more for their cut. The guy had to shut his mouth, not knowing how to respond.

This was brought up by Chrissy Matthews and he kinda laughed and looked incredulous and said -—People do not pay anything but taxes they do not just write a check to the government (paraphrase). He was a real weak answer.
