Not true. Inmates were smuggling them out to sell. He dyed them pink and the market disappeared.

Grand- dad worked/ran the lunch counter for years - I lived there as a tyke.
It is full of hippie types, but some regular folk are there as well.
Has anyone heard of what Sheriff Joe is being accused now?? Something about him mishandling lots of money, like millions? What’s up with that? Anyone know?
