Well, the National Republican Senatorial Committee may be doing its part to support our nominee in Delaware, but now it looks like the National Republican Congressional Committee may be looking to retaliate. According to a Politico report, "one senior GOP strategist familiar with the race" is using O'Donnell as an excuse to throw Delaware's GOP congressional nominee - Glen Urquhart - under the bus. The NRCC has not included the Delaware seat in its list of 47 races in which it plans to air TV ads - and one senior GOP strategist familiar with the race predicted that Urquhart wouldn't get a helping hand going forward.
"With Christine O'Donnell leading the ticket, it's hard to see how Glen wins what was an already-uphill battle," said the strategist. "While anything can happen in a year like this, he probably won't be able to count on much help from the party."
Urquhart spokesman Dave Anderson acknowledged that the campaign so far had a "non-existent" relationship with the NRCC.
"There was an endorsed candidate in the race," he said.
But Anderson expressed optimism that the party would come around.
"We expect them to do what they need to do to win this race," said Anderson. "We expect them to have the same commitment they had to Delaware before. This is a very winnable race." Now that's just wrong! It's petty enough to pull support for a candidate you don't like - but to pull support for down-ticket candidates - who just happen to be in the same state as people you don't like - is just plain absurd.
Of course...this has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Urquhart beat the NRCC's endorsed candidate in the primary, right? Yeah, I totally buy the argument that this is all about Christine O'Donnell (I also have some tropical beachfront timeshares in Saskatchewan that you might be interested in purchasing - if you get my drift).
Granted - anonymous NRSC sources turned out to be wrong about the committee's treatment of O'Donnell, so maybe the anonymous sources at the other committee are wrong too. Either way, we've now been warned to watch for party money flowing out of Delaware.

I Do not think Politico is correct!!!! They are a liberal rag u know?
Really?
I don't believe the original claims were wrong. I think the NRSC changed their mind strictly because of the blowback they got.
This daily attempt to trash O'Donnell by the GOP Establishment drones is really stupid tactics.
If she loses, EVERYONE on our side is going to point at Rove and his propaganda drones like this “unnamed source” as the cause.
If she wins, everyone is going to remember that the GOP Establishment did your best to sabotage her and anyone connected with her.
After Nov they GOP Establishment mouthpieces face either ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as traitors or ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as irrelevant, non-credible cretins.
So either way the Roveites in the GOP machine are creating a lose-lose position for themselves with this daily trash talking about the Delaware races

No Conservatives. We hate successful conservatives.
Obey us. Obey Obama. Go Caliphate.
I agree and I think the NRCC is about to experience the same blowback.
Generally I hang up on generic GOP requests for contributions.
Now I’ll have a reason to tell them to go to hell.
I only contribute DIRECTLY to campaigns for CONSERVATIVES - like O’Donnell.
Already the liberal media is attacking her for statements she made in the past about her personal moral beliefs.
And the Establishment RINOs like Chris Christie and John Cornyn will stand in the background nodding their heads.
I’m with ya. Sending money online right now.
I have seen this same crap go on in PA with our GOP establishment. They won’t give money to my district’s Republican candidate because they say her race is unwinable. They’re making it unwinable by stripping her of cash!!!! I think the truth is more like she’s a tea partier, not part of the RINO establishment in PA. www.melissaforcongress.com
“anonymous NRSC sources” - yeah right.
Cornyn said he wouldn’t give money to O’Donnell, and then he reversed himself.
For the record, this is Castles House seat.Glen Urquhart was the “Tea Party” candidate who upset the party choice Michelle Rollins. This sets up the possibility of a double win or double loss of Mike Castles seats.
Gotta get these candidates nominated at Ten Buck Fridays.

ANY TRUTH TO THIS?
Trying to find another source, but haven’t . However , click on Delaware and see what you get:

You know I am going to guess that most if not all of these Tea Party endorsed candidates could and hopefully will have long memories when these entrenched RINO’s come calling on them for help after they win their elections.
This could be a career altering moment for many of the old line GOP RINO’s over the following election cycles in the years to come.
I am honestly having more fun watching them squirm than the dems.
If this is true, there’s going to be a lot of ‘purging’ going on when the ‘TEA PARTY’ takes over the Senate and the House. Whether it’s in 2010 or 2012. All these ‘establishment’ types are gonna enjoy taking a hike from the leadership spots.
I agree. These people have learned nothing. Except *maybe* to be a little less overt in their sabotage.
We are fighting a war on two fronts. No mistake about that.
This is the reason you should donate only to the candidates. When you donate to the RNC your money may, and probably will, go to a rino.
I don’t know whether it is malicious, or just cold calculating tunnel vision. For a Washington insider, I’m sure it is obvious - the shoe-in lost the primary, therefore the down ballot candidate is worse off.
Frankly, I don’t care what their analysis is - if they can only afford TV time for 47 candidates, fine...I don’t donate to the Rep committees anymore.
I never heard of Urquhart before this thread. I just donated $100 to his campaign (after checking him out).
I also donated to Christine O’Donnell’s campaign ($50 pre-primary, $250 post primary), among others.
Forget the party apparatus...let them defend incumbents and their handpicked shoe-ins...we need to support the true conservatives who have a fight, and a fighting chance.
Actually they were not wrong, the NRSC back tracked on what they originally said.
