Capitalize Our Media (brayin)

So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you LOVE is sick.” John 11:3

We have been brainwashed into believing we need a huge Establishmedia to ration our information when we don’t. There are two ways to make the media unbiased, one would be put a $1000 bounty on liberal journalists, the other would be to close the corporate newsrooms and put them out to pasture replaced by smaller more dynamic news orgs that will give a variety of thought. Right now we have giant corps like GE who use their news programs as nothing more than write offs to filter information. We have no variety of opinion in the large news companies and only tiny little FOX exploring the corruption of our gummit. Now is the time to pull the plug on these money pits and let Capitalism take over. Could there possibly be anything more corrupt than NBDNC?

When you have an internet bringing information to your fingertips in real time do you really need a giant monolith deciding what they will and won’t report. Do we need these corrupt corps or their distorters being activists for the DNC to get their politicians elected? It is time to call them out for the commie propagandists we know they are and make them suffer for their one sided coverage. We don’t need them nearly as bad as they need us and it is time to make them pay. It’s time to save some trees and dolphins for these Eart worshippers and tell them to keep their yellow ink and nightly snooze. A bit ironic they lecture us on protecting the forest while they are using trainloads of trees to print their birdcage liners.

We now have been told the Stone Age Press was colluding to make sure all of obozo’s questions in the campaign were no brainers. If anybody would ax a question about his past mentors, the questioner was going to be labeled a racist by all the other journalists including Media Matter$oro$. This was a coordinated attack on the FOX reporters and even attacked Steponallofus when he questioned Black Oblack on Minister Wright. Reporters completely backed down as we all remember the different rules that Gov Palin was exposed to. Small wonder he looked so brilliant while she was sliced and diced into a terrified monkey. Wonder how many emails were exchanged on what techniques and tactics to use to unnerve her and edit for maximum effect. Was SNL also involved?

This journalistic malfeasance is more proof we need to take this out of a bloated socialist boondoggle and put into a free market. If we had a Capitalistic system there would be an investigation into this MediaGate and find out who and where it went. Was it only journalists or were their heads of corps or people in the campaign and who? These questions need to be answered to see how the election was manipulated from the commie-cult media and where do they go? We know it was coordinated out of the Ohbummer campaign although we still have to know how many journalists participated. We have to take those reporters who felt their job was that of a political hack was more important than any impartiality. Once again the corrupt journalists give a bad name to the other 2%.

How many more of these scandals can the Establishmedia absorb before the entire façade comes goes Humpty Dumpty? When you have people who are obvious hacks delivering the daily dose of propaganda you can’t have too many more of these scandals pounding extra nails into the Press Corpse’ coffin. To imagine the smartest man in the history of the planet needing such a choreographed campaign while trashing Palin worse than Bush. Did the Obozo campaign write the questions for Gibson and Colic? Did they pick out Gibson’s glasses? Did they tell them how they wanted her to be portrayed or did they have to be told since they attend the same strategy sessions? To imagine the levels they needed to reach to get below the Bush campaign standards they not only did it but exceeded anybody’s expectations.

It is time to bring a fairness nondoctrine to the Samestream mediots. We need to have the same number of Conservative outlets as there are liberal. There is only one way to guarantee this and that is to remove all govt regs and subsidies to let the market determine the winners and losers. If we would fire the losers to let the market determine rather than the corrupt networks we have now the spectrum would be represented. If we had a solid representation of numerous Conservative outlets, there would be no limits to the number. This is exactly what they don’t want since the liberal ideas would be left on the waste heap of histoir where they belong.

The Dinosaur Press has become as corrupt and partisan as the gummit. We no longer believe a single report they give and are laughing off their claims. How many times can you report Conservatives are racist poo poo heads. We already know they are an arm of the DNC living off the fat of giant corporations w/no regard for truth or profit. It is too important to explain what Capitalism is and how it can bring freedom and prosperity to not only every person in America but the World. Our Exstream Wing media is standing in the way of that information to continue their evangelization of their Commie Cult. Those giant corps and banks need to cut them free to sink or swim in the marketplace of ideas to force them to report the Truth no matter where it runs or whose toes it taps. Now more than ever it is time to launch a new media who is not a braindead ideologue but a Free market warrior hungry for the Truth. We need to bring the power of Capitalism to the media and bring back a truly Free Press. That said a bounty would be more effective.

Pray for America

I think that you are wrong on this idea of an impartial media. I think that the market can also decide which newspapers should or will survive.

In my town, the DemocRAT & Chronicle which were obviously two different papers at one time merged into the current Gannett owned fishwrap, I no longer purchase the D&C. Have told them why and have openly mocked the editors in public places.

I have given up on the illusion of “objective journalism” it’s just not possible. And it is OK, all I expect from a journalist is honesty. The honesty to say, “I’m a .... and my writing is taken from that point of view”.

Exactly, right now we have extremists pretending to be objective which is the worst of both worlds. Let the marketplace decide by giving choices rather than FOX and everybody else. The market would represent every view as $$.

We ARE “taking them out”. No one watches the lame-stream media on CBSNBCCNNMSNBCABC. Their ratings are in the toilet and they are costing their multi-national masters millions, maybe billions. I wonder how long the boards will keep taking these painful financial hits before they decide not to indulge their “media stars” any longer.

Print media is well on its way to being a historical blip.

During the founding of our nation, the news was written and printed by small groups, sometimes by single people, in store fronts and in their homes and circulated locally. It was ALL biased and representing a single viewpoint. One small town could have several of these papers making the rounds. The “newyorktimes” model didn’t take hold until well after the turn of the 20th century. National and international television “news” didn’t start until the 50s. And make no mistake- it was biased even then. Calling Walter Cronkite “the most trusted man in America” makes me throw up a little in my mouth, and I grew UP watching him every night.

I think we have come full circle. We are back publishing on our keyboards, at our kitchen tables, and circulating in the “internet town”. Just like then, the news, although usually biased, is more trustworthy than the crap they feed us on the television.

OK decided to say something. ;)

Yesterday am on the bike at the gym-tv enhanced bike and CNN was on-the only reason I stayed as was news on Shirley Sherrod from her attorney being interviewed on a recent case settled (gone on for decades just won against the government). But you probably know all that. CNN's Rick what's his name was listening to the report and kept saying "Whoa go back", her father (or grandfather) was murdered by the KKK so he asked or suggested she must have hatred in her heart for whites (so many words). The attorney (how can you know what is in another's heart?) said probably so, but she followed King physically and intellectually in that "you attack the policy not the person". CNN's Rick would not let it go, as he called the earlier subject matter of a Arizona Border group headed by a guy in camou, carrying a gun saying "We have 11 less illegals in our country right now", they had been sent back over the border. CNN"s Rick called him a Neo Nazi and insinuated the above comment from the guys blog was more than what it was.

Then CNN's Rick took on Sherrod..who I had partially supported the other day on other voice clips (politicians never get fired) as it left me wondering why they had set her up as this target and why the White House had requested she immediately pull over to the side of the road and resign. She was 3 hours from home. She actually had been performing a real job which she had performed for years. Looked like real damage control to me by someone Important. Someone was going to look bad. She was out of their control. I then heard in the attorney interview yesterday how she was still friends with the farmer's wife, why would this be if all that had been related was true, how her family and other black families large land owners and successful in their agricultural business back then (60's) could not get a loan as white farmers not as successful because they were black. The government (Farmer's Admin) was White and we know the "power of the prejudiced" back then. That is why Shirley had suggested the farmer's family to go to a white agent to get the job done-her being black would not help him be successful. She and others had lost at receiving their loans. (Thus the suit) We know the rest of the story. The attorney then in frustration said Shirley was fired because she was going on GlennBeck. In driving home, Howie Carr [ Boston ] was on and he was attacking her as well, late to the table (and I like Howie and was embarrassed for him thought Sandy might save him), as was Hannity and John Gibson--all drinking the same Kool-aid of misinformation. No excuses for their ineptitude on 7/20/10. I then resorted to the Hits on the radio, I was so frustrated & angry. I quickly related this to a friend in the Dupage County/KaneCounty area of Illinois and she had turned off the same conservative pundits for the same reasons. Now I ask you, was not the racist card being played big time yesterday, even on FR drinking the same Kool-aid. Even the forgotten news channel HLN (?) was trying to get the real story across.

Did anyone ever wonder, why the NAACP and the White House was doing something so way out of character?? Few bothered to think outside the vanilla box. (and that's a real estate developer term)

This is sad for me to see the racism card being played by both sides of the media rush for ratings. CNN's Rick was stuck on the killing by the KKK and hatred in her heart and Hannity and others were stuck on the hated "white farmer". They were all out in the media fields cackling madlly like crows for one ear of corn.

My opinion.

Your post reminds me of a similar story from that era, the 60s, but with a slightly different twist.

I knew an old farmer who lived down the bayou in southern Louisiana. He owned and farmed about 30 - 50 acres with the help of two black families. He had come to this country from France about 1875 and had settled there, built a house, married and raised a family of five children.

He farmed and used local blacks as farm hands on a share of the crop basis. He even built them two houses bigger and better than his own because they had larger families.

He quit farming toward the end of the depression and just raised enough food and animals to feed him and his family. He allowed the blacks to continue to live in the houses for free and to do the same for themselves. They had all been together for forty or fifty years. The kids grew up together and played together.

In the sixties one of the younger blacks, a niece, went to work for the state in some social worker capacity. This was the height of the Civil Rights disturbances and demonstrations. The niece told the others that those houses were not up to standard and that the old man had to do something about them. The old man was ninety-two and had let them live there all those years for nothing and now they were making demands.

So, he told them that he would do something about the houses but they had to get their stuff out of there first so that he could. They did, and he tore both of the houses down and sold the still solid cypress wood for a nice price. Some the blacks in the area whom he had known most of his life, and had helped raise many of them, now hated him. Others realized the error of their ways and would occasionally go by to visit him. They told him they knew they were wrong but there was a lot of pressure on them to make demands.

There are lots of those untold stories that happened during that time that cut both ways. The farmer and his black friends and neighbors were just fine until the Civil Rights Leftists started agitating the blacks.
