In a startling announcement, Attorney General Eric Holder revealed that the government may not ask for the death penalty for the 9/11 plotters, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. The plan to try the plotters in a civilian court in Manhattan, only a few blocks from Ground Zero, evoked so much criticism that it apparently has been abandoned. But even if they are tried before military commissions in Guantanamo, Holder now doubts that the death penalty will be imposed.
Oh yes, in case you forgot, this is the same Eric Holder who played a key role in the Waco disaster, in which 84 religious cultists − including 26 children who were by definition innocent hostages − were gassed and burned to death. If gassing and incinerating members of an unpopular religion, who didn’t eat pork and observed the Sabbath on Saturday, doesn’t remind you of an important historical event, perhaps you should think a second time.
In short, gas and burn to death 84 people who were never convicted of any crime − no problem. But execute the 9/11 plotters, some of whom confessed − no way! A dislocated joint can cause pain and disability. But dislocated compassion can cause even worse troubles. Sympathy for terrorists who want to murder us, but none for folks who just want to be left alone. Compassion for our enemies, but none for our own people.

Alberto Gonzalez is hauled before Congress to answer for the permissible firing of 8 U.S. Attorneys. Eric Holder is supremely unfit for the job of Attorney General, and proves it over and over again with each passing day, and is blithely allow to continue.
He should resign immediately.

Death penalty? Please. We’ll be fortunate to have trials, and even then, under rules that might allow for a reasonable possibility of conviction, given the advantages certain to be given to the defense. I know. I wouldn’t have believed it either five years ago. But with this Administration, my suspension of disbelief requires readjustment on a daily basis.
Don’t worry, Justice will be served. 100 hrs community service & time served, (suspended) seems about right, But we knew that would happen back in 2008.

No...he’s accomplished STUPID all by himself.
When will the Republican leadership call for Holder’s removal? Mr. Boehner, Mr. McConnell are you out there?

Now, the guys in Congress? They were reduced to a bare shadow of themselves by the voters who decided that it was more important to "PUNISH REPUBLICANS" than to "PRESERVE AMERICA".
I think we could do a search through the files of FR and discover who all the posters are who called for such punishment.
Given Holder’s bumbling I could see one of more of these defendants acquitted on some technicality and sent back to a heroes welcome in the Middle East only to plot the deaths of more Americans.
Holder is just part of the communists takeover of America.
GOP needs to take back Congress and start up hearings.
