Now it’s “Obama’s America” and things have gotten even worse.

We have an Army vet in our neighborhood, who has a large sticker in his back truck window that says I support our military but not the current commander in chief.

He’s black.

Come to think of it, he reminds me a lot of a potato I was getting ready to cook the other day. Brown and healthy-looking on the outside but when sliced open it was black and completely rotten and useless.

Obama's support comes chiefly from three groups: Blacks, for whom racial solidarity still, sadly, trumps reason; Hard Left socialists in the public sector unions, government bureaucracies, think tanks, and their wealthy patrons; and the Mainstream Media, many of whose members are children of white, upper-middle class families who carry a deep sense of presumptive racial guilt for which they insist on repeatedly flogging their viewers and readers.

Viewed in the harsh light of reality (as opposed to the softly radiant halos placed about his head by the media), there is nothing particularly appealing or likable about Obama. He is cold and distant, unengaged by other people and their ideas. Aside from political mentors, he does not appear to have any close friends, and does not respond well to even mild criticism.

As for Obama's vaunted communications skills: they simply vanish when he is deprived of his electronic crutches; leaving him grasping for words and leaning instead upon crutches of the verbal kind - "um", "er", "well", "uh", "let me be clear..."

Whereas one might reasonably expect a Harvard-trained attorney to be knowledgeable and articulate (if supercilious to a fault), Obama often comes off as superficial and disinterested in honest argumentation. He is notably dependent upon clichés, truisms, and his own quirky vocal intonations to purchase for him the respect he believes is his due, but for which he lacks the true currency of knowledge and experience.
