Sarah Palin's Private Photographer Has Seen It All
Citizen Palin 4 President ^ | Shushannah Walshe

Shealah Craighead works in pictures, not words, but she's got a lot of good Sarah Palin stories. Here's one from this winter: It's Valentine's Day, and Palin is spending it at the Daytona 500. As Palin is greeted by the usual crush of fans, Craighead and other members of Palin's retinue are eyeing another celebrity in attendance, a certain dreamy jazz musician-slash-actor. Afterward, Craighead can't resist the opportunity for some girl talk.

"You just sat next to Harry Connick Jr. for 10 minutes! Isn't he so dreamy?"

"Isn't he!?" replies Palin, laughing.

The stuff of scandal, it's not -- but it does help explain the role Craighead plays in Palinmania. Since shortly after John McCain tapped the then-Alaska governor as his running mate in 2008, Craighead has been Palin's personal photographer, the chief documentarian of both the public and private sides of her emergence as a singular mix of grassroots force and big-ticket

You sure are a whiney little metro, and you sound just like the betas at DU and DK.

Just sayin’

“I don’t see anything about giving money to anybody.”

“SarahPac will support local and national candidates who share Gov. Palin’s ideas and goals for our country.”

I guess that depends on one’s definition of “support”. Of course she DID give money to McCain and Lindsey Graham.

I agree that it could certainly mean monetary donations but barring that she has done an excellent job of doing just that this past year and I’m assume using SarahPAC money to do so. I see nothing that forces her to use SarahPAC money to give to other candidates.

I think that means endorsement, not financial support. I would think she would use the money for travel to give endorsement speeches, etc. And that would include paying a photograher to record the events.

I know you love that MSM phrase, “tight T-shirt” but it’s not tight. It actually fits her well, but then maybe your preferences lean towards flat chested.

Why are u lecturing him Bobby.

You don’t cotton to Sarah anyhow.

If you think it makes her look bad you should be encouraging him.

You’re doing a little Brer Rabbit and the tar patch thingie here over Sarah’s lovely figure

Went through this with a gent on an earlier thread -- it's not a *job*, what you are seeing is a better-fitting foundation garment.

I'm not saying Palin is evil, just that she is like every other politician...morally ambiguous and compromised.

Probably true. No better. But no worse, either, than every other politician. I've yet to meet one who wouldn't throw me under a bus.

Of course it’s not forced, but “support” has been a long-standing, time-honored political euphemism for money, not simply verbal/written endorsements, personal appearance, etc.

I'm just trying to help you Palin supporters. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Palin decides to run her success if going to be determined not by the men but by the women's vote.

You're constant sexualization of Palin is only going to drive that vote away. But that's what passes for political acuity in Palinistaland.

My God what a great picture of her. Now I can forgive her for supporting McCain.

“...they were so casually dressed, but I can’t recall the story....”

The story goes that their driver got lost going to the race track. They were suposed to go to their hotel, change, and get to the race. Since they were running way lat, they told the driver to head to the track. They came as you saw them. Personaly, I have no complaints.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought it was something like that, but I simply could not remember the details.

Creepy? The word I would use is magnificent, or to quote Seinfeld “real and spectacular”. Life is too short to not admire real physical or natural beauty. It’s Liberals who go to the extremes of pornographic adolescent snickering or having their women in burlap burkas and Birkenstocks.

Harry Connic Jr, IS dreamy, in a very Jazzy, retro way. He is also the son of the last decent D.A. New Orleans ever had.
