It's Happening!

It didn't take long for the threatened Arizona boycott to backfire on the few states that have espoused it. Already, with almost 70% of the nation solidly behind Arizona, more and more states are promising to support the state with conferences and vacation trips. In addition, those states are contemplating similar legislation, and a majority of their residents, are planning on voting with their pocket-books to give California and the rest of the whiners a taste of their own boycott medicine.

That would truly be fun to see. Those entities which boycott Arizona in what ever way....find that they too can be ‘boycotted’. Would love to see that!

This boycott nonsense borders on the lunatic edge. So does any sports team or organization that messes with politics. If only these people who push these follish political ploys knew how stupid they look to the rest of us common sense folks. For goodness sakes we have a president, Barack Hussein Obama who bad mouths a state for protecting its American citizens. We also have an Obama appointee, Eric Holder, who condemns the enforcement bill that Arizona passed without even reading it. Shucks, I would not let Obama or Holder take out my nightly garbage. And....folks, these boycotts and protests will fail miserably, and backfire against all the idiots that brought them forth.

AZ should offer free one-way bus tickets, for any illegal immigrant who wants it, to MA, IL, or CA.

Throw in a helpful pamphlet on how to apply for welfare and social services in those states, and watch liberal heads explode.

:)

We're planning a driving trip to Tahoe this summer. Our route, coming and going, is going through Arizona.

We'll have to be sure to stop, spend money, and be sure to let the locals know why we're stopping and spending money.

Good for you guys! Arizona will appreciate the business, and you’ll feel good you could help!

Have a great trip!

I think that’s a smart strategy, particularly since I think commerce based boycotts are a great way to show individual displeasure. In the end, they receive some notoriety, but as with the South Carolina boycott, seem to fizzle in strength.

Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon are wonderful summertime destinations. (Not stinking hot like Phoenix and Tucson.)

Gee, I just said the very same thing to my step-son this morning. He was questioning whether the Pinal Co. duputy might have staged his own gun shot wound to make it look like the law was the right thing to do. He is having a rough time with employment as he is in construction. I pointed out that he is always complaining that illegal immigrants are getting the jobs and surpressing wages. This brought me to the foolishness of the boycott as many of the illegals would be hurt and jobless from it, especially hotel and food service workers.

Yea, but it's a 'dry' heat. ;-)

I drove to Winslow, Arizona and stood on a corner and spent money last week.

Here’s how the city of LA should be confronted regarding its so-called boycott of Arizona:

If LA were serious about their boycott, they would boycott ALL of the water that they get from the Colorado River, which flows through Arizona, including through Arizona’s famous Grand Canyon.

Think that the LA city council will agree to that?

They’re frauds!

Funny, I just emailed My Governor this morning asking her to Stop Selling Electricity and Water to the City of Los Angeles (DWP) in an effort to support their right to boycott Arizona. After all if they truly want a boycott why do they purchase 21% of their electricity from US in AZ. Time to JUST SAY NO to Los Angeles Utility Companies.

What the leftist nitwits are doing is hurting the people they’re supposedly trying to help. Everyone who travels knows that the motels and restaurants are full of Hispanic workers. Who do outstanding jobs. Boycotts are going to hurt them enormously. That makes the organizers of the Arizona boycotts racists by their definitions.

"spend money"

My wife and I are visiting Yosemite this year. Can't help spending money in California, but we won't be visiting southern Cal or Frisco. We will intentionally pass through Arizona and spend more than usual.

I live in IL. Please don’t send us any more. We are full up.

I’ve seen a lot of this state over the past year. Let me know if you’d like any tips on certain areas between Tucson NorthEast through to the Grand Canyon. Cheers and enjoy your trip!

I was thinking the same thing about the free bus ticket to CA. It would be nice to see the liberal, illegal alien loving states put their money where their mouths are.
