In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.
This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010. The source described this as 'our long, hot summer of discontent' that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities. However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved. In 1968 the major players were war protesters. This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed. It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind. In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.
However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote.

The media is trying to get folks believing that TEA Parties are violent. Of course they aren’t so now the media is say they could get violent. While there probably are plans at any time to deal with riots, the leak of this information is for PR purposes only — to smear the TEA Party.
Don't give the heartland all the kudos, the coasts also have their fair share, too!
There are “Freepers” in Georgia. Eighty thousand troops would be quite noticeable. Could someone check the Georgia military base and report????????????
“In 1968 the major players were war protesters.”
That may have been true about the riots at Democrat convention in Chicago, but the vast majority of riots that occurred in the U.S. in 1968—in D.C., Chicago, Baltimore and other major cities—were race riots related to the death of MLK in April of that year. The anti-war rallies didn’t get real momentum until 1969 and 1970. Not that we’d expect a REPORTER to check his facts rather than offer us an inaccurate, unfiltered memory dump.
I sold all my guns to a traveling salesman and don’t remember his name. lost the info on the sale.

I would not put it past them to create such uprising with their SEIU or ACORN “actors”, publicly blame it on the Tea Party faithful, and go ahead with the martial law/confiscate weapons program.
They are intentionally poking a finger in everyone’s eye trying to start something. So they can restore “order”.
“never waste a crisis...”
And join the NRA.
If the village idiot in the White House saw 25 or 30 million NRA members he might have to rethink his plans.
Waco- the trial run to prove our Govt. most certainly would turn the military on its own people. Barry Soetoro has nationalized more businesses than Hugo Chavez has.

Didn't the number 80,000 for a Brigade sound odd to you? How many troops do you think we have?
And, btw, this was initited under Bush.
The President at the time had Patton disperse the “bonus Army”. There is precedent. Even so, I say, “Bring it!”
“...seeing troops with completely different uniforms/camo and different types of vehicles...”
Those could have been OPFOR or similar to the old “Aggressorland” simulated enemy, where soldiers in combat service support units are detailed to serve as `opposing forces’ during combat manuevers. There are or used to be fiberglass mockups which would make U.S. Army vehicles look like Soviet versions.
Not saying the regime wouldn’t contemplate using regular forces against U.S. citizens. But IMO any potential violation of Posse Comitatus will go public very quickly. No amount of secrecy can conceal something that huge.
OPFOR
Not to quibble, but wasn’t it Douglas MacArthur who was ordered to disperse the Bonus Army? Tanks appear in the old newsreel footage; maybe Patton was commanding those. But once the Bonus vets’ shantytown was burned down, the Army’s mission was complete. There was no followup, no pursuit and arrest of protesters.
BTW, the bonus that was originally to be paid to Great War vets not until 1945, was authorized by Congress ten years ahead of schedule in 1935. This rarely gets mentioned in any account of the Bonus March (i.e., that the protest was ultimately successful).
Anyway, that the Obama regime is even thinking about illegally using regular forces against ordinary citizens, is proof of how little it understands the majority culture in America or federal law for that matter.
Exactly. I was just saying on another thread that they feel their progressive agenda is being threatened and so they need to find a way to ‘kill two LARGE birds with one stone’...1) the disarming of citizens, and 2) the interruption of the 2010 elections. Any crisis, real or imagined, will do.
