Who can win in 2012 and truly take back our country?
Posted on 04/15/2010 11:37:43 AM PDT by Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!
Opinions are like noses everyone has one.
Flame me all you like but I am not 100% pleased with contenders in 2012 that CNN could not wait to post that are supposedly dead even with Obama. (Ron Paul tied with Romney, I believe) We all know this is garbage (as far as Obama winning) and possibly the GOP contenders standings as well; as Obama is worse than Carter and polls show he will lose to Barney Fife.
Of Palin,Romney,Paul,Gingrich; SO FAR... I favor Ron Paul.
I have heard over the years Ron Paul was a nutcase. So...I did a little research and he is NOT a 9/11 truther. Other than his foreign policy of bringing all troops home -now- he is on the money.I can live with this.
He is an isolationist and this is somewhat what we need right now. He wants us cut off from the U.N. and all other foreign entities. He want the IRS done away with... Sounds good to me. He is a fiscal conservative that so far appeals to the very important Independent/conservative vote; of which I belong.
I like Gingrich but will the GOP ever really change? Logic prevails that if we continue the game of R's and D's switching power grabs we are only mediocre with the R's and doomed with the D's.
Romney is just a player. His health care fiasco is just that. Im tired of the McCain's and Lindsay Graham's.
Save the third party speeches getting Obama re elected. Obama will be voted out. Independents join the GOP in wanting him out of office.
Does the tea party come up with brand new candidates to sweep in 2010 and for the presidential election?
Does it really matter whether a republican or tea party candidate/ get in? I mean... once in DC the corruption lies so deep. This is why I will bet America goes for Ron Paul because he won't play the game.
If I offend all the Palin,Romney, lovers; I apologize but this needs discussed intelligently and not with blinders on.

Agreed. I like these two as well as Marsha Blackburn.
Thanks! I'll have to read up on Marsha Blackburn; I really don't know that much about her but have heard others speak highly of her as well ...

In our TV personality driven populous. Don't you think he would be crucified for being so fat? If he seriously wants to run for President, he needs to seriously lose a lot of weight. I know it is not the right way to look at a President, but we are talking Americans here and they typically go for looks and maybe after will look at issues.

I will never vote for newt because he said, “The era of Reagan is over”. NO.. the era of rino newt is over... the adulterer and friend of pelosi... lover of globull warming lies... and he is corrupt.

We have an open primary in Michigan, and I agree, it's really, really a dumb idea to keep it that way.
I'd love to have a conservative senator........I know this will sound blasphemous to some here, but compared to our two senators, a RINO would be heaven sent.

It's actually 1/2 a leg plus 1/2 a leg.
*Ponders*
Okay, that equals one leg.....

This is not necessarily a bad tactic. It's the way someone approaches an issue intellectually instead of bad-mouthing, etc. From what I've read, Bobby Jindal does not agree with most of Obama's policies, if any. Jindal is a good (faithful, Christian, family) man.

JC has been for reparations for many years... you guys had better come up with some people that do not stand for things in common with obama, kennedy, sharpton, jackson, reid and pelosi.

Here we go again... Ron Paul moles on FR and their "Palin is now the enemy" allies, 'Big R' Republicans, MittBots, closet leftists and others are really on the attack lately right here on FR.
Sarah's really got 'em rattled.

He’s pretty impressive isn’t he? Seems like a down to earth guy who has his act together. I’m sure the MSM would label him big time. Not their kind of black man.

Palin is the only one currently out there.
Current list is a joke or a death wish for conservatives

I wouldnt even care about that but for the fact that we cant simply crawl in a hole and pull it in after us.Surround the hole with enough Claymores and trip wires and we won't need to pull it in after us!

Fred and Sarah have the presence, Fred the experience and can sell people on being the President when he speaks.Last time around Fred didn't seem to have the fire in his belly.

You do understand wikipedia isn’t a credible source, right? Anyone can (and does) edit it. Try again.

Ok thanks. Why do you say “try again” as if I am purposefully decieving? Some people are so dead heat on THEIR candidate (I have not found one yet) they don’t read.
To: rrrod
Some straw poll has Romney winning. This makes me ill.
To: LibLieSlayer
Agreed. But we get spit on daily for being the world’s army.
Name one R or D candidate that would tell the U.N. to pound sand.
