Reports from several, credible sources say that the Pentagon shooter, John Patrick Bedell, was a 911 Truther, an anti-Bush zealot and, just for good measure, anti-military. Bedell was the shooter (terrorist?) who unsuccessfully attempted to storm the Pentagon late yesterday and inflict many fatalities before being fatally shot and dying, hours later, in a nearby hospital. The extent of his damage was minor—two cops with grazing wounds—but the implication of just who he was and what his now all-important motive was will be very severe. Early this morning, many sources are reporting that Bedell was a 911 conspiracy theorist/nut who believed the WTC towers came down in a demolition; was angry at the US government for enforcement of marijuana laws; was an anti-Bush zealot; had links to the University of California, San Francisco; and was an anti-military zealot regarding a supposed "cover-up" in the 1991 death of Marine Col. James Sabow.

The media will run with the Col. Sabow story as it appears to be tied to the Mena drug running conspiracy.

according to his Amazon account he used the nickname infoeng. If you google +infoeng +bedell a ton of sites come up - some seemingly off the wall.
Those who are better at searching with google and other search engines than I may be able to find additional info using the nick.
His Wikiversiy Projects page shows that he was keen on something called the OpenInsurgent Project which would have been a "MMORPG to simulate and manage small-arms defense against state-of-the-art military opponents."
He was effectively working on training software for terrorists.

He may be a Truther this morning but by tonight he will magically be transformed by the MSM into a radical member of the Tea Party Movement.
Many of our modern libertarians are one step away from the anarchists of old. That is, they’re paradoxically left-leaning, big State people in some areas where they think it benefits them, but at the same time are sort of wild cards with their own bizarre projects, usually involving pot, and a very weak grasp on reality.
When the Communists took over in Spain prior to the Spanish Civil War, it was after years of using the anarchists as sort of shock troops. Most of the bombings and assassinations of the early 20th century were committed by anarchists, and usually benefitted the Communist politicians and Communist labor unions. They served to massively destabilize Spain and it was very easy for the Communists, through manipulation of a shaky electoral process in a demoralized country, to gain power.
Interestingly, when the Communists got power in a region, almost the first thing they would do was haul out the anarchists and shoot them, since they were considered too “politically immature” and unreliable to help the Communist cause any further.
We’ve had two attacks in the last couple of weeks by libertarian or anarchist leaning people (the guy who flew his plane into the IRS building, and now this one) and I think we’ll have more as a destabilizing tactic.
And even though all of those things go against 99% of the members of the Tea Party movement, we’ll go ahead and let you know he was one of those evil Tea Baggers! /s
