I have an issue with the 'save the whales' crowd because they are also usually the first to scream 'choice' when the topic is saving the humans:

Yep. I have a t-shirt with a whale on it that says “Save the humans”.

And, you are dead on, we are given dominion over the earth, stewardship, we are to care for it but not worship it like the hippies do. We are to only worship God.

Where I live there are billboards that say “Conserve Wildlife: Hunt, fish and wear fur.”
