"I think the speech last night was classic Obama; and that is socialism with a smile. Apparently, he is not going to listen to the American people, including many people who voted for him in the last election ...He was fixated on the Bush Administration.

Got that right, DH!

A better country would have put him in the Oval Office. Still laying it out there square and level.

He’s working his tail off to get a bunch of serious conservatives elected in the House this cycle.

DH: Yeah, he used what I call the “Victim Strategy”. That is, all liberals are happy to announce that people who served their country in uniform are “victims”, and that they are going to take care of them. Alan Cranston, former Senator Alan Cranston - now the late Alan Cranston - who represented California, was a conscientious objector in World War II. And he became, by his leftist notions, the greatest advocate for the veterans. Treating the veterans like victims is the answer for anti-war liberals.

The best thing you could do for veterans is to acknowledge that they’ve won, that they accomplished something, that their lives and sacrifices have value, and what they gave to the United States has great value!

Amen.

“And lastly, he failed to take on China. It’s been a mistake for both Democrat and Republican Administrations. China is still cheating on trade. They are taking the life blood out of the industrial base of this country, which is taking the good wages and good jobs of the middle class that underpins the housing industry in this country, a major segment of our economy. “

One of only a handful(Issa, Hayworth, DeMint) who understand how economies actually operate.

Duncan needs to talk about the trashing of the space program that Obama is doing in the name of "privatizing"...in fact a standard socialist head-fake to dismantle all US manned-space capability.

And if he was concerned about waste, he wouldn't be throwing the R&D already invested away in Aires.

My reading is that Hunter is only thinking about 2010 congressional races right now. He is spending a great deal of energy helping a gaggle of conservatives vying to take back Dem held seats.

But back in March of 09, before the 2010 race heated up here is what he said:

PA: Yes, but still, there was a lot of conservatives that sat on their hands when it got down to Huckabee and McCain. That were not thrilled with either. It really takes a what I believe to be a Reaganite, to reunite the party. That’s where we are hoping that you haven’t completely retired from politics. Are you considering, or is it possible, you may get back into politics?

Hunter: Politics, or running for office, it is a process of identifying an opportunity and responding to it. And as you know, politics is largely timing. And if the right opportunity presented itself, I’m not foreclosed at all to running again.

But I'm not going to ask him about his future political plans again until after the 2010 cycle is done.
