This makes it more likely he’ll get bumped off in the primary. That would be a shame. I’d like to see Toomey beat him.

I'll bet he doesn't even make it to the primary. He'll see the writing on the wall, the dem heads will apply appropriate pressure, and he'll retire and withdraw from the race.

That's sort of what I see as the new dem strategy to grasp onto power. Force out the most vulnerable, then run a "fresh" candidate.

I agree. That would be just deserts for the old fool.

However the Party will dump him in favor of Sestak, who is not only younger but is more in the fold as the KoolAid drinking tool that is the perfect Obamabot.

His Naval service, albeit starkly UNdistinguished, makes a good deception for the lemming voter as well, a la Dick Durbin and John Murtha.

You will rarely see Sestak in any of his tireless efforts to raise his profile that he does not manage to mention his naval service. Reminds one of John Kerry who, if you hadn't heard, served in Viet Nam.

Didn’t the RNC back him instead of Toomey the last time round?

Yeah, it would be nice to see Toomey shellac him....
