You are right on point saying he should be lauded for keeping his team in there to the bitter end. I am not particularly a Vikings or a Saints fan. I was pulling for Favre, sorta like I voted for Sarah Palin. The Vikings and John McCain were just there!

Actually Favre should forever thank the refs for not acknowledging his timeout request. The Vikes were operating off a timeout they just called, and it is a 15 yard penalty to call another back to back. It would have went down as one of the all time boners in NFL history, courtesy of Brett Favre.
