Why are people angry at Palin campaigning for McCain? They seem to have created their own Palin according to their own idea of who a Sarah Palin is. According to this idea, Sarah Palin is 100% principled, anti-RINO conservative and well informed, so she would not have agreed to campaign for McCain. Well, she did agree to be his running mate, didn’t she? Or perhaps she didn’t know about McCain at the time? Then, she probably was not that well informed about national politics. Or, probably she has never been so conservative and anti-RINO as some people project her to be in the first place.

My own take is that Palin is a conservative, but she sees that the way things done is by sometimes making coalition with other people who share at least some part of her beliefs. Returning a favor, putting her in national spot, is another way to see why she agrees to campaign for him.
