Americans do not suffer fools or tyrants for long, and the reign of the foolish tyrants in Washington will come to a humiliating end on January 19. That’s the day of the Scott heard round the world, when Scott Brown will triumph in Massachusetts and deal a ferocious blow to our new royalists’ dream of permanent coronation.

We need to make this victory happen. We need to work the phones from home, leaflet the Massachusetts streets, and donate money. (Find out how at brownforussenate.com) Lawyer Alert: Scott Brown is asking for lawyers to volunteer for the high-stakes legal battle that may follow his victory, as Democrats look for procedural shenanigans to deny him the people’s seat.

We also need to pray. Every Saturday morning, synagogues across America read this prayer for America. I offer it here, noting my favorite line: safeguard the ideals and free institutions which are the pride and glory of our country.
