I was wondering - I was born in France - may be in France they had german in the military since they love loosing wars and surrender but I was wondering if we had german in the US Army during world war 2 - did they have german in the english Army?
Just saying..
The enemy is within and even our own army does not ahve the courage to acknowledge that THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.

Its is a religion it is not a nationality it is a religion that teach death to the infidels all non Muslims are infidels. Their religion comes first above all else. This is not a politically correct movie. Even if it only 10% feel this way it is 100 million people if we go 1% it is 10 million .1% 1 million people. And as long as people do not recognize this we will not be able to protect ourselves. The war on terror is a HOLY WAR they know it and we have to recognize it. You have people who do not fear mortal death.

We DID NOT have germans in the army who were born in Germany and loyal to Hitler.
The German americans that came to this country and served in the military had one major thing going for them. They chose to come to this country and become AMERICANS 100%. they assimilated. They learned english, they embraced democracy and capitalism, they hated hitler.
My grandparents came here from austria. It was NOT easy to become a citizen. They refused to let their children speak german.
They were americanized FIRST generation. Their allegiance was NEVER in question.
We had quite a few Germans in the US armed forces who were born in Germany. At least one of them won the Medal of Honor. Almost all of those who served in combat were in the Navy in the Pacific. But some were also in Army and Marine ground units. Herman Bottcher, for example, won a pair of Distinguished Service Crosses (second highest award behind the MOH) in New Guinea.
A handful served as interrogators, interpreters and radio traffic analysts in the European Theater. They were always under tight security.
For Japanese-Americans, reverse all of that. Combat troops in the European Theater; interrogators, interpreters and radio traffic analysts in the Pacific. The concerns that led to these policies were not limited to worries about the true allegiances of these German-Americans and Japanese-Americans. Germans (Americans of German heritage) had long been established and assimilated in America by the time WWII came along. We cannot say the same for people from Muslim countries at this time.
A closer comparison would be people of Japanese heritage during WWII. I am not saying that it was right to put them into internment camps. Just that we need to be careful with Muslims because we are at war “on terror” and even tho all Muslims are not terrorists, many terrorists have proven to be Muslims. It’s just foolish to not thoroughly check them out before allowing them into the American military. And to keep them under continuous observation. I could go further but i won’t right now.
Had an Uncle at Normandy for D-Day - another uncle was infantry ... both were half German. They signed up knowing full well they were fighting the Germans and they considered Germany the enemy. There was NO mixed loyalty. And if there had been any discovered I’m sure they would have been court marshaled. Today, officers would be afraid to stand up to a Muslim who was siding with the enemy.
I am wrong?? Really? I have a friend who is Muslim and lots of people where I live are Muslim. They are not planning on killing American soldiers. Sorry, buddy. You’re wrong.

Again, these guys are serving with other guys who are not extremist Muslims.
I concur that the soldiers were defenseless. But also at fall is the system and political correctness that let this slip through.
I’ll ask my soldier daughter her opinion.

Most reports are that he did yell “Alla.....”.
We’ll see officially in a few days, but several parents of soldiers have said they were told by their sons or daughers that the jihadi yell was given.

One book on WWII said that about 1/3 of the US military during the war were partially or completely of German ancestry.
I’m with you on this and have posted similar comments elsewhere...anyone allowed into the USA armed forces should be loyal to defend the USA and NOTHING ELSE!!!
