ACORN Destroying Republican Voter Registration Forms
Publius Forum ^ | 10/19/09 | Warner Todd Huston

Not long ago, Pam Geller told the story of an ACORN office in Florida that had destroyed all the Republican voter registration forms it had gotten during a 2008 voter registration drive.

Geller had a first-hand account of this crime from one Fathiyyah Muhammad, an Obama voter that is a registered Republican. She is also an African-American.

"This is my first experience" with ACORN, Muhammad said. "This was before Obama got the nomination, long before then….I heard about this group that was paying $3.00 per person, to go out and to get people to sign up to vote. So I went over, I thought that well this is a good way to make some money because I know everybody, you know. I went over there and this guy signed me up and everything, and gave me my little pad, all this stuff."
Muhammad dutifully went out and registered a bunch of Republican voters in Jacksonville and returned to the ACORN office to turn in her results. However, the ACORN representatives were incensed to find out that her registrations were for Republicans and not Democrats...

To be fair, why would anyone entrust their voter registration to a third party to begin with? Each time I've registered I just fill in the form and mail it straight to the registrar.

If someone isn't willing to go through that much of a "hassle" then said person has no business voting. If it was up to me, any form of third party voter registration would be illegal.

I’m sure it was just one rogue employee, not an organizational thing. ACORN payments from our tax dollars start again in a few days.

I recently registered Republican in Roswell, NM, moved here in January.

We were at a festival downtown, the Democratic Womens Organization was running the booth. We talked for 20 minutes registered me as the opposition and my card came last week...............there are good people on both sides.

The Republicans had no one there to register any one, we looked for it.

The politicians are more concerned about the election process in Afganistan than they are about OUR ELECTION PROCESS. Acorn is so criminal & so outrageous it makes my blood boil.

Back in the stone age when I turned 21 (legal voting age then) I was at some community event where the United Steel Workers Union was doing voter registration. I took a form and filled it out and put my party as Republican. The Union guy gave me a dirty look when he saw that but a few weeks later I got my voter registration card from the County Elections Dept.

States should make vote registration hustling illegal, and scum groups like ACORN wouldn’t be able to operate. People who are too lazy or disinterested to go register should do the rest of us a favor, and stay home on election day. Accommodations and exceptions can be made for the disabled, but voting drives by flim-flam, communist organizations like ACORN should be illegal.

ACORN gathers all the signatures in Chicago. Obama’s were verified and the two opponents he had, had their’s thrown out. Hmm, you’d think it was planned that way by someone.

First, what should you expect from a Racist Front Group (however, there must have been enough money to smear keeping dissent at bay all these years), second, I guess its only bad when the revered title of African-American is invoked then becomes serious enough to act upon. I am sure if this was done to members of the “Democrat-Socialist Party of America,” there would be show trials all across the nation; lining up their human debris on parade, claiming their identity politics movement suffered.

The County Registrars are no longer sacred territory.I know of others, besides my daughter and I...Republicans who voted in all elections (large or small) who’s names disappeared from the rolls when we showed up to vote. It was obvious that 3 Republicans at one address was just too much for THEM so two of us were no longer registered. Complaints got no where. Provisional (absentee) was our forced alternative. Since our experience (all in Los Angeles) I’ve heard from others that this had happened to them as well...and it was BEFORE Obama: We were dienfranchised. Take a look at who works at your County Registrars and your Secretaries of State...the ACORN-type assault on our freedoms has burrowed in already.

I’ve probably voted for the last time. Since the (R)s don’t give a darn & the corruption continues why vote. Also when elections go my way the judges take over. Nah, it’s now a waste of time & effort. In some countries this would cause anarchy. Not here from the robots.

They are destroying more than Republican Registration forms. They are destroying the Republic. (That is our constitutional form of government for all you ignorant Obama/ACORN/Democrat supporters that are reading this or having it read to you.)

Once again, if this can be verified, it’s pretty scary.

Let’s see, if a government sponsored, non-profit had destroyed all the democratic voter registration cards do ya think the ManchurianStreamMedia would think it ‘news worthy?’
Would it made it onto Anita Dunn’s radar? Or is it acceptable because it’s the way Mao would have done it?

I’m not one for tinfoil hats, but it doesn’t seem like this must damage, done this quickly can be an accident . . .

The judges have been denying the vote of the people in California for decades. At times, voting does feel foolish...like we’re kidding ourselves that we can stop the madness....
