A quick comparison of the voting record and the membership list of the Congressional Black Caucus, shows that only 7 of 42 voted to defund. A couple seem to be missing from the list. All the rest voted against defunding, except for Alcee Hastings and Melvin Watts, who voted “Present.”

I wonder what this represents. Racism? “Racial Solidarity”? Dependence on funds funneled through ACORN? I’d sure like to know why only 1/6 of the Congressional Black Caucus was appalled enough by what was happening to do something about it.

If I were black, I would be ashamed of them.
