I, too, think this would have blown over if it had been just one office. Fire the workers who showed "poor judgment," lambste the right for "dirty tricks," and move on. The MSM certainly has shown no interest at getting to the truth and pursuing the matter.

You know, I have a buddy of mine, a middle of the road, easy to sway moderate, that is a fan of Stewart's. The Daily Show is his main source of news. He asked me if I watch it and I responded,
"How 'bout I don't get my news from Jon Stewart, and you don't get your comedy from Brian Williams?"

The two young investigative reporters, James O’Keefe, 25, and his 20-year-old partner Hannah Giles, need a Pulitzer for this. They have given a real lesson to the so-called pros out there who have been reporting on their laurels the past 20 years.

ACORN handled the sting videos by the 2 kids very badly. All they needed to do to maintain Dhimmi support would have been to take their time and announce after a couple of their offices had been exposed that the first office smelled a rat right off the bat but played along with the kids, who were ridiculouly dressed and obvious pranksters. Then say that after they left the first office, the national organization was alerted and all local offices were told to be on the lookout for them and if they came in, to clown on them and be as outrageous as possible, since the young filmmakers were so silly that no one could ever take them seriously.
That might have worked. But ACORN proved its incompetence by firing the Baltimore and DC employees right away, thereby admitting wrongdoing, and saying that the kids had been tossed out of other offices, which was patently untrue as new tapes kept being shown.
ACORN is as foolish as it is corrupt.
I totally agree. I phoned Sen. Bob Casey's office today, and the person answering the phone reading the script back in front of her, gave me the line that these were "isolated" instances and aren't representative of all of ACORN, I promptly told her that the same scenario was presented in each office, each office had no idea that this had happened in other offices, and the advice was consistent.
This person depends on Jon Stewart, of all people, for verification. Absolutely ludicrous.

Don’t believe it. ACORN will become something else, and something else after that, but it will always be the same immoral organization working to keep poor blacks and others slaves to the Democrat Party and the politics of hate. Organized race baiting and poverty pimping is the bread and butter of politicians and power brokers who benefit from the perpetual legacy of welfare.
