Remember, when amateur historians talk about the "Fall of Rome" they are talking about a slow gradual process that took centuries, even after Rome was first sacked by barbarians. Romans in the Spanish countryside didn't even notice until Moslems started to show up after 800 AD.
Just a caution against panicky reactions, although in the long run I am not optimistic that we won't need to shed blood for liberty.

Think about it. Every person and nation in the world has a stake in the US.
If chaos erupts here...the rest of the world is in truly DIRE straits.
If there was a legitimate threat to the current US regime (the form of government that has existed for over 200years, and now resides in the WH, Congress and USSC)...WORLDWIDE chaos would ensue.
Who has the nukes? Who can issue launch orders? Will those orders be obeyed? Where is the MONEY? Who will honor the bonds?
Sheesh. It would be the end of the world.
