Here is video of Laura Ingraham on Bill O'Reilly last night being respectful but blunt about the fact that Sen. Ted Kennedy "defined pretty much everything we (conservatives) stood against."
"When Reagan was for cutting taxes, Ted Kennedy was for higher taxes. When Reagan was for taking this tougher, more aggressive stance with the Soviets, Ted Kennedy was for nuclear disarmament."
O'Reilly asked Ingraham if Kennedy was sincere in his "belief system," and she said she does not know that. But Ingraham said conservatives can learn from Ted Kennedy to not compromise on what you do believe.
Ingraham closed by saying people should not "overstate" the political accomplishments of Ted Kennedy. . . . . (Watch Video)

No compromise on anything!....It’s to damn important to the survival of America over socialism!....
Loved Lauras comments!
And in the end Kennedy didn’t accomplish much, other than picking taxpayers pockets and dealing dirty politics.
They call him the “Lion”, but that’s a typo.
Should be “Lyin’” After all, how many US Senators get away with murder?
Proof that Liberalism is a mental disorder?...How long did he have the brain tumor? Could of been there fifty years growing and destroying his ability to reson. He was 100% wrong about everything.
Get born rich and grow up to be a skirt-chasing, test-cheating, bloated booze hound. Rely on the family name and connections to get your start in politics and nearly blow it by driving drunk and leaving your latest mistress to drown. Cash in on pity for your family and spend a few decades peddling populist pablum and Euro-lite socialism to suck up to the masses while your staff does most the work. Accept the adulation of your faithful citizen-serfs.
My only problem with your comment is that there’s not sufficient evidence that MJK was actually his mistress. Some say she wasn’t of the loose morals to be so, though I have no doubt that Kennedy wanted her to be his mistress (or just a receptacle of his lust).
Kudos to Laura Ingraham for not putting the blinders on and speaking falsehoods about who and what Ted Kennedy was and stood for. It is a disservice to this country to attribute things that were not there with Ted in an effort to deify this rather troubled individual.
Was he sincere in his belief system? Stupid and irrelevent question O’Boring. Hitler, Pol Pot, Castro, Stalin etc were all sincere in their belief systems; does that make them all worthy of admiration?
If you are finished, I’ll volunteer to sweep up the ashes ;-)
