If it’s true, let’em dig themselves in a bit before we expose them. Otherwise they’ll just say, “Well give us a chance to explain already! Our plan was ALWAYS to dispense it to the elderly and those most vulnerable.”
We have a habit of jumping the gun. “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes.”
The CDC recommended in July that 65 and older not get the H1N1 vaccine because the elderly seem to have an immunity to the virus. In another article I read, there is some thought that an exposure to a similar virus years ago caused the immunity. Thus, there is no need to vaccinate those 65 and older besides which, there isn’t enough of a supply to vaccinate us all and schoolchildren and health care workers are first in line. And on top of that, we were supposed to be sharing what we had with countries who couldn’t afford any but I don’t know if that’s still the case.

I think I *have* heard something about how seniors are less likely to *catch* this flu, BUT if they *do* catch it they are more likely to die from it.
But again, it was something I think I heard on the radio and don’t have a source!
Well, this granny doesn’t want their consarn shots.
They eviscerated Bush over the lack of normal flu vaccine while he was in office, trotting out the poor inner-city citizens as examples of the "angry white men's" racism.
And they wonder why we don't want to read their newspapers or watch their nightly propaganda programs thinly disguised as news.
