What I meant was that the title was highly attention-grabbing. I assumed they had it right that he was somehow disabled prior to the attack, especially since I recalled seeing him in a wheelchair during various footage. The reports should have made it clear beyond a doubt that he was not wheelchair bound at the time of the attack, because it could have been the case that he had used a wheelchair prior but wasn't permanently restricted to one.
