Those who know me know this is the right decision and obvious decision at that, including Senator John McCain. I thank him for his kind, insightful comments.

One of the dumbest and most naive things Governor Palin has ever said. Ever. Guess she likes the view from underneath the buss and the feeling of knives in her back.

Your comment is naive. She is being classy and sly.

Cut Sarah some slack. She shouldn't be your target, McCain should be.

No, dude, that's diplomacy. He and she and we all know the truth about the way he has behaved. By saying this, she appears gracious and he appears like the embittered and disloyal fellow he is. Clever of her. This is diplomat-speak and everyone in Washington, including Juan McCain, understands it. A bit like congressmen who despise one another will refer to one another as "my esteemed colleague" or "the distinguished gentleman from Massachusetts."

Gov. Palin sees Sen.John McCain as an American hero...she said so many times and again yesterday. It would be beneath her to address him any other way. Either your or my opinion is simply not important.

Ever hear of CLASS, that is what Sarah is all about, being a CLASS act. McCain chose her, she is showing him respect, the more respect she shows for McCain, the bigger the dork McCain looks for treating her like garbage.

You don’t know what “kind, insightful comments” McCain may have offered her. It’s quite likely that they do have a good personal relationship, despite the backstabbing by some former campaign aides. By all accounts McCain was quite taken with her when he first met her, which led him to choose her. And she has never expressed anything but gratitude to McCain for choosing her. Exactly what I would expect from someone with Governor Palin’s class.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I dunno. She's acknowledging him as the person who introduced her to National politics.

Don't be too quick to judge. Governor Palin is re-writing the political handbook.

to post 10 - Gee, she's a devout Christian, what would you expect her to say?

Then again, her being a Christian could be why you think her 'naive and dumb'.

...but I could be wrong, and you're just a wanker. :^)

Sarah has, apparently studied her Shakespeare:

Marc Antony: "For Brutus is an honourable man; So are they all, all honourable men-- "

She is being polite and behaving as a Christian should. She is an inspiration as well as a role model as to how one should conduct themselves.

I, personally, would have told mclame to shove it where the sun don't shine. She is obviously a better Christian than I.
