When Shane Amundson's girlfriend gave him a large Confederate flag decal for his pickup truck, he had no idea the image would cause a stir at Lakeville South High School.

Freedom of speech does not mean you can't have a bible the size of a card table, or a flag larger than 3 ft long. This is a freedom of speech issue, the flag has historic meaning, as does a cross, the Constitution, the state flag or the Star of David.

I just like to question the writers definitions from time to time. They have a way with words, you know.

How could they legally ban it?
Its not any of their business what a citizn ehas on the vehicle as long as it is oterwise legal..

I work at a midwest Land Grant Institution and worry about some little leftist $hit keying my pickup for any bumper sticker on it that she/he does not agree with. I have placed the Bonnie Blue Flag on the bumper of my pickup to state my support of states rights. Much less volatile than the better known CSA flag and still gets the point across to others who know history. Here she is:
