“Michelle, you’ve got some big feet there girl...lawd have mercy. When you get tired of those sneakers you could probably give them to Shaquille O’Neal.” ...lol.

He is so upset!
I had planned to paint my converse sneakers grey and add pink to the toes for the next rally!
Now, I wonder if I might get mistaken for a “code pinker”! LOL

You can put $500.00 sneakers on a pig, and it’s still a pig.
LAWD HAVE MERCY!

As long as it was her money, it’s fine by me. They don’t look worth $540; hopefully the money was for a custom fit and not just for a designer’s name.

As long as it was her money, its fine by me I think Manning's point was more the hypocrisy of "assisting" at a homeless shelter with those sneakers on, and also about black people in general who can barely make rent yet spend hundreds of dollars on fancy sneakers.

A woman my wife works with was a single mother who made around 20K a year, lived with her mom and had a five year old son. She would constantly spend $100 or $200 on clothes and shoes for this child. She bought him a $500 leather jacket. Yet she would apply for and receive every posible Government hand out that she could get.
I am over 40 years old have made over 100K a year and have never owned a piece of clothing that cost $500.
It is this kind of materialistic attitude that the Rev, is talking about, and he is saying that the fist bumper is a prfime example of style over substance.

I bought my wedding dress, veil and shoes at a thrift store for $75 - then sold it for $100.
Yeah, I’m that cheap! lol!
