On this point about just re-typing your address into a google map and changing the lat/long is over simplifying this issue Theophilus. They are doing this in a way that they can and you can be SURE that it will work for them. I don’t believe it’s not a big deal!! Mostly, I agree what you post but I can’t fall in behind this one. I, too am an evangelical Christian Conservative. Bottom line however, we must trust God.!! CO
I used commercial GPS (for a federal job) in the 90’s when there was a 100m longitudinal and a 156m latitudinal scramble. The units that these people are using are not that bad, but tend to wobble and wander a good bit.
They are not counting doors. Not all who work for them are convinced it is good to be too precise, either.
Don’t want a visit - live behind a locked gate that looks like it goes nowhere. if you can’t do that, put up beware of dog signs, many worker bees will guess rather than take a chance.
Hmmm - long time since I have worked for a governmental agency where I had to learn about access, but the truth is probably somewhere between, and your sheriff probably more wrong than the kid, unfortunately. The law allows access to private lands for a variety of official reasons. However, some private property owners (Biltmore House, for instance) get a lot more property rights than others. Generally, it is simpler and better for get permission or and escort, but they are able to get their way in the end.
Simpler to hide or make it less appealing to come on your land.
The constitution might say a census is taken every ten years but where is the mandate for me to participate ?
good one
Through a hand-held computer that has a GPS included with it. It records the exact location of where the census worker is standing on your property. No "marker" is left at your home.
Ideally, the census wants the GPS spot closer to the home. Map spotting on the curb isn't considered acceptable.
All the possible and right addresses of living quarters must be compiled before the census forms can be mailed out.
Because the Postal Service doesn't deliver to address where no one is presently living but could live at the time the Census forms are mailed out.
Here is what a form looks like:
http://www.census.gov/dmd/www/pdf/d61a.pdf
That wouldn't work. There are residences that aren't occupied presently that can and will be when the Census forms are sent out. The Census has to have the mailing address of every possible residence.
A GPS location is indicated by the census taker's hand-held computer and he or she marks the spot on a map given to them by the computer.
Yeah,,, target a house, it blows up and then the news can say it was a gas explosion.
I think we should take pictures of all the census people and post their images on the net. Why should they not be made to feel uncomfortable. Why should they be allowed to hide?
Thanks, Ol’Sparky.
>>”I really hope all this crap is rumors, because if it isnt, then its time for CWII.”<<
It’s true. They ‘marked’ us today while we were away from the house. Not sure what I would have done if we were here.
CWII coming soon I think. Hopefully we can do it without firing a shot and just vote the bastards out.
WHAT ARE THEY PAINTING THE DOORS WITH? I just got a new door. I didn’t see paint on the old one or the new one. Is it really paint or what?
No. They’re marking the longitude and latitude of your front door in their data base, using hand held GPS units. “Painting” is a figure of speech.
