I do agree that Rudy ran a bad campaign. However, he was not helped by the single issue pseudocons who took great joy in walking over the best candidate the GOP had. In a bad year for the GOP, he had the best chance of beating BHO.

Rudy is about as Christian as I am a Chinese Redhead. He is a liberal Rockefeller Republican who should stay in his Third World, Euro-American MINORITY city.

Anti-gun, soft on unions, pro-gay, pro-abortion, anti-constitutional, law-and-order Eurofascist. (Expletive) him, and his cheap whore of a wife.

The Kristol/Podhoretz Crime Family (who should be deported NOW, or at the very least, sent back to the Dem party) will be pushing him at every turn. Thankfully, they have declining influence in the movement.

Rudy is not a Christian, despite the fact that one of his best friends is a defrocked Fag priest.

Single issue my ass. No matter how many times you tell that lie, it does not make it true. Rudy was pro-abort. Anti-gun. Pro-amnesty and sanctuary city. Pro-global-warming. Pro-gay. That's at least five issues, right off the top of my head. Throw in his ethical problems, his wreck of a personal life, and Bernie Kerik, and he was a walking mess of a candidate. The only pseudocons I see are those who are pretending all those problems don't exist - apparently, because they don't take issue with them all that much themselves.

who took great joy in walking over the best candidate the GOP had.

Yeah, right. The only reason McCain even had a chance was because he nominated Palin. Do you honestly think Rudy could have gotten the base motivated?

Will you respond to post #7, please? What is the "single issue" you refer to? And what do you mean by "pseudocon"?

... pseudocons who took great joy in walking over the best candidate the GOP had. In a bad year for the GOP, he had the best chance of beating BHO.

Rudy opposed the GOP platform on more than half the major issues (see post 7). You call him the "best candidate." On what basis do you call him "best"?

This is one strange rehash of what just took place. There does seem to be a common thread with moderates and liberals it is always those ‘hay seed’ hick one issue, morals voters that cause all the problems.

N-i-c-e- take. All of it.

Dedicated punkneo haters are hoping that "The Kristol/Podhoretz Crime Family is deported NOW."

The little termites change course and scatter to wherever the Beltway winds are blowing. They are sucking up to Obama as we type----since the Jan power shift. The neocon traffic under Obama's desk is getting fierce---OTOH, Obama's sex life is improving (/snic).

Keep in mind----Obama's closest advisors-----COS Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Dennis Ross, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton----reflect an ironclad, single issue neocon orientation, even though none of these individuals are actually card-carrying neocons.

.....There seems to be a common thread ...... libs and mods always blame those ‘hay seed’ hick one issue, morals voters as causing all the problems........

THE LIBERAL CREED (they do believe in something):

1. Christians are evil.

2. Women are to be valued only for their cleavage and the quality of their birth control methods.

3. Traditional gender roles are artificial but feminism and homosexuality are government-protected lifestyles.

4. Self-esteem is paramount; government must undertake to guarantee each citizen-victim self-esteem, no matter the cost.

5. The ACLU is good, because destroying religion and silencing believers are protected by the Constitution and the First Amendment; The NRA is bad because it defends the Constitution.

6. Standardized IQ tests are racist; racial quotas and affirmative action are not.

7. Conservatives are racists; everybody knows that hyphenayed voting blocs can't make it on their own without Democrats peoviding big-buck government assistance programs.

8. Abortion is a natural right. The Founders just forgot to put it in the Constitution.

9. Normal sex is perverted. Threesomes, bestiality, necrophilia, homosexuality are just new ways to get a thrill.

10. Moral indignation is a liberal's standard strategy for endowing their output with superiority.

11. Victimization is a liberal's basic belief by which they blame and find others responsible for their own personal failures, then expect taxpayers, deep-pocketed individuals, or the courts to bail them out. It feels good to be in the throes of "victimization" and either A) causing victims, B) concocting victims, C) playing victim, D) commiserating over victims, or E) creating another class of victims to bleed over.

12. It's a liberal's duty to treat Middle America in the manner of raising mushrooms, that is to say, keep them in the dark and feed them lots of horse manure.

13. They bow to Obama---capitalism creates oppression; government creates opportunity.

14. The traditional family is archaic, constricting, with no redeeming value. Parents that try to guide their children's choices are restrictive. Kids need to be "free"---as wards of the state.

“Rudy is about as Christian as I am a Chinese Redhead. “

Totally ridiculous statement. Say hello to BHO in ‘12. Haven’t you learned anything?

No matter how many times YOU tell the lie, Rudy’s primary opposition was from single-issue pseudocons, the small but self-destructively vocal minority who cared more for the ability to claim victory in defeating the Italian Catholic than in winning an election.

If you have to rationalize your position by saying that BHO is just as bad, then you really have no credible position. This is the pseudocon equivalent of “I know you are but what am I?”.

You really are delusional. Rudy had at least FIVE major conflicts with conservatism. You saying it ain't so doesn't make it so.

You just can't answer a straight-up question, can you? How was opposition to Rudy single issue when Rudy had at least five major conflicts with consrvative causes?

Oh, and the corruption in the GOP and the economic meltdown, which was a bipartisan effort, doomed the GOP. Real conservatives had nothing to do with it. When McCain picked Palin, they rallied around him. But he still lost - and he is a mushy centrist like Rudy. So I don't see how you can claim that Rudy would have done better. But, then again, facts don' seem to be your strong suite. I would go so far as to speculate that you are allergic to them.

Not at all. For some strange reason, pseudocons can’t conceive of an honest politician who can separate personal feelings, however weakly felt, with the responsibilities of office. For example, Rudy personally believes in the right to choose. So freakin’ what? He would have appointed strong conservative SC justices, which is the only impact that a president can have on the abortion debate. The other arguments can be taken apart similarly. Your only rebuttal is that you may not believe him. You’d be wrong. Hence BHO ‘08, and, with similar myopia, probably ‘12 as well.

So freaking what? You just revealed YOUR true colors, and they ain't conservative. Yet you have the gall to call others pseudocons.

Later, pinhead. I don't waste time with proven bald-faced liars.

I am probably more conservative than you. Can you not understand that his personal feelings are irrelevant? You’ve made my point that your disillusion with Rudy is not politically motivated, but more to assure a social status among similar-minded pseudocons.

And thanks for the insult. Perez Hilton—is that you?

Hey Buck... You still haven't responded to my simple question in #7 or #66

You now said again:

Rudy’s primary opposition was from single-issue pseudocons, the small but self-destructively vocal minority who cared more for the ability to claim victory in defeating the Italian Catholic than in winning an election.
What is the "single issue" you refer to? And what do you mean by "pseudocon"?

A. The single issue varies from pseudocon to pseudocon.

B. A pseudocon is someone who professes to be a conservative, but whose myopic actions cause him or her to viciously denigrate viable GOP candidates (in the manner of the lunatic leftist fringe) and hand the election to BHO.
