I agree with you that they really can't be described as trash. Trash is something else. The Obama’s are users.

Yes, they are cunning and manipulative users of the system. They got through school on affirmative action. They used the poor of Chicago to climb their way up, and now they are using the great unwashed masses in the country as their power base...playing them like a fiddle and giving away the store to enhance their power.

I’m not suggesting we let the other side set the rules. The other side is already obnoxious. It is one of many reasons I find them insufferable. I will not become that which I dispise.

What I want to know is: who has been chosen to fill that critical, all-important $300K a year job at the University of Chicago Hospitals, vacated by Mrs. TOTUS before she took up residence in the West Wing?

What's that? Nobody is going to be hired for that position? It's been "eliminated"??? Gee, if I didn't know any better, I'd think that some corrupt political organization in Chicago (say, the Democrat Party) created a worthless, no-show hack job in exchange for political favors from a US Senator.

But of course, it just can't be true because not a single media outlet in the United States has looked into the matter, and you know how they loooove scandals!

We’ve just been through 8 years of listening to the geniuses on the Left calling Bush every epithet they could think of, and more. It was so bad that we started referring to it as Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Then they went after Palin in language that reached new lows, just when we though they couldn’t go any lower.

I like to focus on issues, events, philosophy, and leave the ad hominem to the nut cases. Obama is a Leftist, and it shows unmistakeably in his domestic agenda and in much of his international agenda as well. He is an epic incompetent; he has never held a job, never made a payroll, never built anything, never produced anything; a guy you wouldn’t hire to run a convenience store now presumes to run an entire country. He has spent his life surrounded by anti-american radicals and race bigots.

His only knack is the knack of telling people what they want to hear. He has the classic ability to appeal to his audience’s conceit, and he does that very well. There is nothing in there that translates into executive ability.

Vulgar. Now that's a word you don't hear much anymore. Sort of like the word "shame" as compared to "guilt". Vulgar is a good word but IMHO a better one would be déclassé

We all know Michelle's salary went up 200% after her husband became Senator and right before the Univ. of chicago got their million buck grant

AND... post-election, Michelle vacated her 'position'... NOW the The Univ of Chicago has obliterated this 'position'. Hmmmm ...wonder exactly what were her duties???

No doubt a 'Quid Pro Quo' arrangement.

Déclassé is also accurate, but I would argue for vulgar because more people know what that means. Back in the early 1980s, when he still had working brain parts, Garrison Keillor wrote a very funny article for the New Yorker called,, “The Current Crisis in Remorse.” Part of it:

Remorse is a new area in social work.
