I think it’s a way of inserting what seems like an innocuous control over commercialization of a celebrity (because that’s what he is) on the basis of either copyright or good taste, and then using it to prevent any negative images of Bambi from being published or distributed.
So I guess a copyright protected licenced Obama lawn jockey isn’t in my future then.
