On 1/20 I will pray and fast for my country, because she has lost her way.
I watched a video of her on MSNBC in October and her mic was still on and she was bashing Palin and Republicans...Noonan is a fraud. It’s on YouTube.

I have not watched any news since election night.
FOX News fawning over Bambi was the last straw for me. Tuesday is usually my day off, but I have elected to work on the 20th.

Completely agree. I was a journalist for a number of years and at best now I will check out the headlines when I come online and look at the sidebar on FR.

Excellent recipe for sanity and the future. But better yet, a great way to look at January 20th. I too will not watch a charlatan, a fake, an anti-American, who is TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED to be an American, in my opinion, let alone the president of this country.
As far as I am concerned we have a chance to again get a qualified president, a real American patriot, a CONSERVATIVE, that believes in the principles the founding fathers created this country under —— IN 2012. Until then, we pray the damage to the core essence of America will not be damaged to deeply such that we can again retake America and again acknowledge that we have a real American president.

For Christmas I was scouring the thrift shops for one of Hussein’s books and was pretty popular until I told someone it’s for a gag gift.

I keep asking the question each day: “How did we ever get to this point” ? Why did the Republican Party allow this to happen? Why did a jackass like Mike Huckabee enter the race and allow McCain to win on a split vote? How did Jews and Catholics aid and abet the Muslims and Homosexuals in selecting their guy? How did we ever get to that 52.7% so that a neophyte left-wing senator who said his favorite kind of justice is Ruth Bader Ginsburg is about to take the presidential oath of office? How did this guy raise $800+millions in campaign contributions? Barely 5 years ago, we controlled the White House and both Houses of Congress, how and what the damn hell happened that in a post 9/11 world someone with a name like Hussein will be in the White House. The MSM got their guy as did Hollywood and the Soros crowd. God, I pray in earnest, and ask how this country has reached the pits. Our long painful national nightmare has just begun.

I think I’m going to sit down and watch the special extended editions of the LOTR trilogy. Haven’t watched it with the big sound in a long time.
I saw it, part of why my tag is what it is. But what followed thereafter, when she wrote long incoherent twitterings about where the GOP needed to go. I’d really like for her “hits” numbers to shrink, and show her bosses that we’re neither listening or caring anymore.

Geez over the holidays, most of my family and so many friends were talking like the ONE might be a good thing. I felt like my life was a part of people snatchers. You can’t argue with these people but just so much. Thank god for free republic because I’ve gotten where I hate The Corner and so many other “conservative” sites as well. A lonely path we walk now.
You just got to shut up and suck it up. You’re just wasting your breath with most people who watch and read the Main Stream Press and think they “know” everything when they don’t know crap. They accuse US of being dumb even when we know the “facts” about Obama and they don’t.
To feel so different from so many of your friends and country men is not fun. We are headed down the road so far from John Wayne, Reagan and the life and times of this country’s greatness. Where can I go? Where can you go? We can get guns, buy food and prepare. I’d fight for my country if it was possible to but it is all mixed in together. All the yankee union people have moved down south and voted in the democrats down here as well.
I say North Dakota with with our backs to the pansy Canooks instead of Texas with our backs to Mexico. If it was possible I wish they’d give us five states and we’d let them have to rest of country to turn into a cultural pigsty of socialism.
