There is no Consensus Among Scientists Concerning Global Warming - It's Junk Science

So just like the SETI program, nuclear winter, and second hand smoke, global warming "science" is unraveling. Global warming alarmists often rely on the argument that global warming is a reality, because there is a consensus among scientists. But the fact is, there is no consensus. In fact, more and more scientists come out against the idea of man made global warming every year. In 2008, 650 prominent scientists from around the world, challenged the UN by issuing a 231 page report, voicing their dissent over man made global warming. Below is a little information about the report, as well as some highlights. A link to the full report can be found at the bottom of this post.

From the US Senate Comittee on Environment and Public Works:

Over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe challenged man-made global warming claims made by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and former Vice President Al Gore. This new 231-page U.S. Senate Minority Report -- updated from 2007’s groundbreaking report of over 400 scientists who voiced skepticism about the so-called global warming “consensus” -- features the skeptical voices of over 650 prominent international scientists, including many current and former UN IPCC scientists, who have now turned against the UN IPCC. This updated report includes an additional 250 (and growing) scientists and climate researchers since the initial release in December 2007. The over 650 dissenting scientists are more than 12 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media-hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers...

...Highlights of the Updated 2008 Senate Minority Report featuring over 650 international scientists dissenting from man-made climate fears:

“I am a skeptic…Global warming has become a new religion.” - Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever...

So just like the SETI program, nuclear winter, and second hand smoke, global warming "science" is unraveling.

We need a full list. I'll add: Club of Rome, The Population Bomb, Alar (poison apples), AIDS killing nearly EVERYONE by 2010... just to name a few.

They tried to shove this global warming crap down out throats before we knew the facts.

Even though the truth is coming out ,they are still trying to cram this garbage science down our throats.

Bamalamadingdong is four square behind it, so Democrats have smelled the riches to be gained. There just isn’t that kind money to be made out of the status quo, so they are pushing it hard.

Oh Al! Al, where DO you go in winter? Someplace warm and sunny no doubt! Come on over and experience a Wisconsin winter and see if you think there’s “global warming”. It’s just a huge easy money tree for Algore, easiest money he ever made, preaching his lies to libtards.

AIDS killing nearly EVERYONE by 2010

Great example -AIDS can be totally eliminated from the planet by using human reason.

The LEFT is not about reason; it is about fear and controlling human society thereby.

So my brother in law is a microbiologist, and soil chemist, and he believes in global warming. He is an extremely smart guy, I still can’t figure out how he became mislead. He says all this cold weather is the result of global warming, because global warming causes weather extremes. Don’t buy it.

Lost me right there. Global warming may be a hoax, but smoke stinks and is unhealthy.

And I don't see how the SETI program is unraveling? Were the search methods invalid? Or is the author just equating the fact that nothing has been found, with the search being a hoax?

Well, while smoke is certainly unhealthy, probes into the research done on the subject show that the cancer rates and danger levels were grossly overstated. SETI was recieved funding based on junk science, and over the course of time, that was discovered, but the program has not been shut down becuase those funding it still believe there might be some worth to the research even though it was founded on misinformation.

SETI was not needed because Michael Jackson is already a visitor here, on planet earth, and he comes from a remote planet in a far-away galaxy (of course I won’t say anything about “intelligence” but he is an ET creature).

If they had only asked MJ, he would have told the SETI-searchers everything they wanted to know about his fellow aliens and also about life all over the universe. He is in frequent contact with his compatriots on Planet ######, but shhhhhhh, please don’t tell anyone ‘cause he likes to keep his profile low. It’s a SECRET.

Of course it’s junk science. It’s amazing how slow some scientists are to catch up.

Ahh yes, the ozone hole - the one getting BIGGER and BIGGER every year. We were all going to be sunburned and crops wouldn’t grow. Good one, Rocky.

OMG - Sagan and all the other liberals told us there'd be a cacophony of civilizations talking to each other. "Billions and billions" of stars and planets and we'd be PART of it. Sagan said we would hear voices in any direction we pointed... (We ponied up the cash - no voices)

What about SETI was actually junk science?

"SETI was not needed because Michael Jackson is already a visitor here"

That's a very good point. On the other hand, I thought SETI was looking for "intelligent" life.

"OMG - Sagan and all the other liberals told us there'd be a cacophony of civilizations talking to each other."

I didn't think anyone really took Sagan seriously except maybe the evolutionists, since Sagan was all about evolution. And I do think macro-evolution is junk science.

I think some people object on religious grounds, but I never understood that, because frankly, Scripture doesn't say whether God created any other life in the universe. We know that God did create other intelligent creatures, including Angels and the living creatures around God's throne. Whether those are the only intelligent creations is not known.

According to the following site, the budget for SETI has been a whopping $4 million for the last 10 years. What is that? A facility, maybe 10 scientists and some support personel? That doesn't seem unreasonable to at least scan the universe to see if you could find some communications going on. And my guess is that there was probably other scientific contributions that came out of SETI. If nothing else, like Edision, you discovered something that didn't work.

At least SITI wasn’t a scam like Global Warming. But it was one more liberal idea that didn’t “pan out”, as they say...
