45 minutes into a Windows Vista thread and the Microsoft Vendors haven't yet shown up with the obligatory “Windows Vista is really wonderful, you all are just too stupid to realize it” post.

Must be a record or Microsoft is having their Christmas party today

No, it is just snowing out here in Microsoft land, and that means that all of the Redmond/Bellevue/Seattle crowd panic, stay home and complain about how bad the half inch of snow is far to dangerous to venture out in.

They really have shut up in comparison to the beginning of the year, haven't they?  I think they just didn't want to admit that they made a rather expensive mistake by buying Vista and were trying to convince themselves that all the Vista complaints on the forums, the columns in the magazines, the disappointing sales figures, the demands by vendors to continue selling XP, the sudden manufacturer price drops and the expedited Windows 7 schedule didn't mean that they were wrong, it was just an anti-MS conspiracy.
