You know what Patton said in that movie. Wars are all about killing, and armies are all about wars. Pretending otherwise is a waste of time.
Unfortunately, that was many years ago. Times change, be it for the good, bad, or indifferent. Our military is asked to do more today than ever before. And it’s all being done under full view of the liberal world media.
Were this the military, media, and world of Patton’s time...this place (and several others) would have been leveled years ago and we’d be home getting ready to celebrate Christmas with our families.

Wars actually occupy small intervals of time, but armies are permanent. A very small percentage of military men, and now women,see combat.
