If that thief wants to take my money and give it away, then it's a different story. My money is for my family and for my charities that I will personally choose based on criteria including my personal approval of how efficiently and for what purposes they spend the money I choose to give them.
BTW, I actually give more than the 7% Obama wants to force me to give, but the difference is that redistributing my wealth against my will is not an appropriate function of government, while voluntarily giving to help the poor is following a command I was given by Jesus Christ and one I follow joyfully.

Better to give them the know-how to work hard and succeed, instead of the money. That would work. Stealing some of our money and giving it to them will make them lazy.
