Rush always stated that he had no idea what the final outcome of chaos would be...just that it forced liberals to show their true colors.
I saw a piece on Nightline which supported the same theory (particularly in Indiana). I don’t know - I thought chaos didn’t have any effect according to the msm?...
I think Obama was able to get organized in so many states for one reason: MONEY. I don’t think Limbaugh’s chaos really helped him....
but where is the MEDIA OUTRAGE over the MONEY? Where is the siren call to never let this happen again? The media made a big deal about BUSH’S WARCHEST during his primary run...but not a wimper about:
1. Obama broke a promise to take public financing
2. Obama spent unprecedented amounts of money (I saw a report he had 40,000 paid staffers in Ohio)
3. Much of that money was untraceable
4. Some people improperly had credit cards charged for donations they didn’t make
5. Many of his paid staffers likely didn’t pay income taxes (a story about people doing last minute canvassing had people talking about checks in round numbers - 90 dollars for example - indicating no taxes withheld. They probably are independent contractors, responsible for filing their own Schedule SC...but this is virtually untraceable by the IRS)
Sounds like a BIG story....not a wimper.
