At least we can take some small consolation in the fact that Hillary is even more miserable than we are.

I have uttered those same words 1000 times over the last few months. We are witnessing the death of this country by self inflicted wounds...

To all of you who have served in the military thank you. The people in this country have been totally blinded by this man. But the mind and soul of this nation was fertile for the man Obama. We are reaping the fruit of what has been sown for many years. The sad part is so many are blinded by him they will only understand when his true agenda will come to surface. It will come. Only those with spiritual eyes and common sense could see it. The sheep and goats I think have been separated. Pray for our men in the military overseas. Especially Iraq. They need our prayers

When people do know history, then this is going to happen to them (and us.)

Here's from one of my other posts

History will, unfortunately, repeat itself, if you ever knew history! A republican President, Hoover, did the same thing as Barry Soetoro is promoting. Hoover raised taxes from 25% to 63% for incomes over $100,000 (very "rich" then). Results.... the history's worse depression where millions of people lost everything, including jobs, property forcing them into soup kitchen lines. Then another "sweet" talker showed up on the arena, from Austria, and fooled the German people to set the world on fire and slaughtering 6+ million Jews. Hoover learned dearly that raising taxes in a depressed economy is disastrous, and it took more than a decade to recover from that!!! If you think that raises taxes in our present depressed economy is the answer, I am afraid you are in for terrible surprise. Instead of encourage businesses to create new jobs, you will take that encouragement away and the unemployment will skyrocket like in the Carter administration. Every elections have consequences that people are willing to overlook, because the individual is not mature enough make his own decision, "I have to follow the crowd, because they tell me to do so"! Sadly, but true

Remember when you went trick-or-treating as a kid?

There was always one house in the neighborhood that gave out apples instead of candy. The kids avoided that house.

Obama was giving out the candy, and McCain was giving out the apples.

I don’t mean to be cruel, but I’m laughing right now at the hand-wringing I’m seeing here on FR. The average voter is an ignoramus, you say? Well, there’s a news flash! PROTIP: the Founders restricted the franchise to rich white men for very good reasons. But no, we were so much smarter than they were. Everybody gets to vote now.

And yet we cry when they vote for the slickest con artist on the midway.

Well, save your tears. I have been arguing against representative government here on FR for the better part of a decade now, and I have always been shouted down. “I trust the American people!” the critics say. “God won’t let them vote the country into the toilet!” Well, please don’t squeeze the Charmin, friends, but the Ti-D-Bol Man is off the port bow.

Giving the average moron a vote is like giving a chimpanzee an Uzi. History demonstrates this over and over. Yet we act surprised when Bongo shoots up the joint? Madness.

So cry if you must, but don’t believe for a minute that I’m crying along with you. Nope, I’m laughing my ass off — at the election, the system, and the pathos of no-more-kings “conservatives” who are finding out the hard way that a government that derives its powers from the will of the governed is a tyrant worse than the worst king that ever lived.

my parents were both WW2 vets....how do you think I feel?....glad they are in heaven and don't have to see this ungrateful, stupid nation.....

the people of this nation can go suck eggs....I'll stick to my little corner, do the little things that make me happy, but don't expect me to be the cheery good citizen anymore....

I will not vote for school levies or bonds, or jail bonds, or street fixing or new parks or anything..

I will not follow my masters....

if its over, its over...

the other thing is ..I want a draft....a draft of every eligible man or woman 18-38 or so....

I want that generation to feel the consequences of their actions...

I want electricity rates to skyrocket, gas to back up over $4 a gal, jobs to plummet, and SS taxes to be increased....I want people to have no 401k to contribute too...

"after a while we all are forced to sit down to a banquet of our consequences."

eat hardy, America...

Nope, I’m laughing my ass off ...

Your suppositions are correct.

Few actually will touch this kryptonite, especially politicians. Tonight, we are seeing the ramifications.

Unfortunately, we are in store for some very hard lessons. Some lessons will come too late to allow us to correct our errors.

Anyone who disagrees with this is deluded, and I would question the usefulness of their rhetoric. Like you, I've been telling anyone who would listen for quite some time these truths. I don't doubt that you receive the same look of dissonance that I get, from those who don't flat out disagree with you.

However (you knew it was coming), I do not share your apparent glee.  Hard times and lessons will befall these people.  I'm being honest when I tell you, depending on who it is, I can feel pity, indifference, or urgency.  I struggle to feel the love born from caring enough to correct/enlighten.  I can quite famously fall short.  I will not feel joy for those that are God-fearing, nor do I believe that either you or I should.

Please take this with the best of regards.  Mike

You have NOT been alone in challenging the populist 'tards. The mob is fickle and incompetent to rule, and I never understood why folks who love our Republic would think otherwise.

Next issue: The REALITY of the increasingly secular nature of America, especially among the white population (there, I said it). This is something I wish more folks on this site would acknowledge.

Great comments, although you do realize that your namesake also thought he was God, much like Obama.

Thank you for your support. Even though it’s lights out for good old Western Civ, let’s do our utmost to save what can be saved for those who survive the darkness.

I am going to be a poor sport and start bitching from day one. I am ashamed of our country. I suspect many illegal votes.

Welcome aboard the “Plainly Obvious Express.” You can begin by PM’ing me and I will give you a list of Freepers that you should’ve been listening to all along, (and God willing, who will continue to), having been de-programmed from the disease of liberalism. I was startled to realize that this represents about 0.4% of people who call themselves conservatives.
You undoubtedly will awake tomorrow realizing the profound irony that, having elected the first minority to govern a majority, you have gone from having the confidence and number of a majority to a living the life of a minority.

I am afraid you are right. The polls told us that an overwheming majority thought the Rs were stronger on national security but a majority favored the commie. If it happens, then those voters asked for it. (We didnt, but we’re also in the line of fire.)
