I can't believe the people of this great country are this stupid

Posted on 11/04/2008 6:37:10 PM PST by rstark56

I would like to blather for a minute. I spent 23 years in the military serving this country. From Panama and Noreaga, to Bosnia, to desert storm. I can't belive we have turned into this. We have turned the corner and now will become like France. I have seen this country erode since the 1960s and we call this progress. People have turned into a bunch of self centered, selfish, heathens. Only caring about their little world and nothing else around them. Well to those folks your little crappy world is going to change. You better learn to live off of the land and stay out of sight. For once in my life I am ashamed of my country.

Would love to see McCain get more then the 62 Million votes Bush got. That would send a message that not all people are enamoured with Obama.

About 50% of the people in the US are dumber than a fencepost. We call them "democrats".

Actually, it's probably about 45% - the rest are a figment created by fraud.

Don’t ask the value creators to stay. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan...I didn’t leave America. America left me. Those of us who make jobs and create value and wealth will look for the best deal for us now...now that the country we love has been taken over by slackers looking for a hand out. We are already looking into options at our firm.

Don’t ask for the men and women of the military to defend this guy or this country filled with these jerks. I would laugh my a** off to go to New Zealand or the Caymens and watch this place rot from a distance while these liberal jerks fight over smaller and smaller scraps.

I beg your pardon !!! Who’s moaning? I simply said people are that stupid and we are rotting. You disagree????

That certainly doesn’t translate into giving up. Far from it. It is, however, realizing what we are pretty saturated with uninformed, immoral, imbeciles.

This is much much worse than Clinton.

Obama is the most liberal socialist president this country has ever had. He is to the left of Jimmy Carter. And he is totally inexperienced.

This is a scary time for our country. Now we must pray that our worst fears are not realized.

And he will be our president for 8 years. If you thought the media was in the tank for him during the election, just wait until he becomes president. The MSM will paint everything he does as wonderful. The economy will recover under Obama. Not like it would under McCain, but it will because there are cycles. So in 4 years, the economy will be better, and the MSM will be telling you Obama is the greatest president in our history.

Get ready for 8-12 years of total democratic rule.

Our country just voted in socialism tonight. We have destroyed ourselves from within, just as Russia predicted 50 years ago. We defeated all enemies outside our borders. But tonight, the American people drove a stake into the heart of capitalism and democracy.

Hang onto your wallets. If you thought things were bad the last few months, just wait. Businesses are absolutely terrified of Obama and what he will do. 80% of the forture 500 CEO supported McCain.

I just pray that things will not be as bad as I fear tonight. God bless us. We need all your mercy grace and strength.

It is literally disgusting that Obama isn't getting utterly defeated by something like 10:1. WTF is wrong with the people of this country? Don't they know that socialism has been a complete failure every single time it has been tried throughout history?

Exactly so...my thinking is we ran away from them instead of fighting them. Home schools or private schooling is one thing, but we still PAY for failed public schools and they’ve run amok with their godless liberalism.

WE SHOULD have had the guts to confront them and not run away from them!

Thank you for your service!

The voters wanted an AMERICAN IDOL president and they got him. (I guess...)

There will not be a turning point. For that to happen the people would have to have a knowledge of what was before and the william ayers approach to dumbing down the schools, to not teach our heritage but teach leftist values instead has gottne US to the point where a contrast does not exist in the minds of those rejoicing at the election of a Marxist. They don't know he's a Marxist. But enemies like william ayers know! The leftist media know. And they have achieved this final destruction of the Republic.

It didn't happen overnight, but with this election we are too far gone to turn around. Not enough realize why this has been contrary to our heritage. They will not discern an alternative to this secular state we are about to endure. ... And if someone tries to tell you that the next election will change things, just walk away because they too do not get it.

The voters aren’t 100% to blame.

McCain was never a strong candidate. He never represented conservatives well. He got the nomination for ONE REASON: He threatened to jump ship a couple of years ago and leave the Republican party. The GOP made a Faustian bargain with him.

Our President George Bush deserves much of the blame too. He had control of Congress and he ignored us. When was the last time a sitting president couldn’t even be seen with a candidate lest he lost a million votes.

The GOP screwed all conservatives.

America is over. A majority of its citizens have voted to end it. To hell with Adams, Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, Hancock, Lincoln and all the rest. We now embrace Communism. The irony is we won the cold war but the Communists won in the end.

Well, if the Republic is to last, he is. Endure.

Most people don’t bother to do research on candidates...

Point of concern; how many of those Obama "voters" were in districts that enjoyed a 100%+ turnout?

I hope none of McCain’s staff ever works on behalf of Repubs again. I can’t remember a worse managed campaign—when it’s apparent to me, it’s bad.

How did that saying go? No one ever went poor underestimating the intelligence of the American People. This is the same bunch of dumb bunnies who voted for Jimmy Carter in '76. We're still paying for that mistake. Roughly 1 million people have died world wide as a result of that collective American brain fart. I wonder how many we'll kill this time.
