I can't believe the people of this great country are this stupid

Posted on 11/04/2008 6:37:10 PM PST by rstark56

I would like to blather for a minute. I spent 23 years in the military serving this country. From Panama and Noreaga, to Bosnia, to desert storm. I can't belive we have turned into this. We have turned the corner and now will become like France. I have seen this country erode since the 1960s and we call this progress. People have turned into a bunch of self centered, selfish, heathens. Only caring about their little world and nothing else around them. Well to those folks your little crappy world is going to change. You better learn to live off of the land and stay out of sight. For once in my life I am ashamed of my country.

Screw it. F*ck this country and its goddamned hairbrained voters. We will now get what we so richly deserve. Hope you assholes enjoy your increased taxes, renewed terrorist attacks and socialistic programs that will gut the economy, and I SURE AS HELL don’t want to hear your bellyaching and crying when you realize just what a stupid f*cking mistake you just made.

Sorry everyone. Pull the post if you want to, mods, but this is just how I feel right now.

If only there were more Americans like you. Thank you for your service. Thank you for speaking out. The corrupt and debased have taken more ground. The dishonest crooks play by different rules — how can we even out the playing field? I’ve tried to reason with my liberal friends and they take offense. It’s frustrating. I’m so disgusted I don’t even want to talk to them any more.

Yep... they don't know what they're doing... looking for some hope and change... hopefully it won't take 4 years for their little dream to pop realizing they've made a mistake.

Have to grin and bare it... so will my wallet / bank account.

Fight the good fight peoples... I know I still will.

25 years service here. I’m with you on this one, pretty disgusting, isn’t it. Hedonism run amok. Watch these losers whine when the country goes bankrupt.

I am with you, I also gave my country 23 years of my life. Having said that, all someone has to do is get the majority of the fools on their side and they can get elected to anything.

thank you for your service.

Yes, this country is stupid. Look at the TV shows.

But be of good cheer. There are still at least 20 good Red states that voted the right way.

Imagine how the Dems felt in 1984.

Hey, I can always count on my next cruise being a Med cruise/party and not a Persian Gulf cruise. Too bad, I really liked Dubai.

I can’t believe it either. That is, I always knew it was a possibility, given our lousy educational system, but I can’t believe how fast it happened. The US people have just thrown away 200 years of a glorious history and waltzed off after a dictator whose only friends and contacts here and in the world are people who hate us - well, the old us - and all we stood for. I’m stunned.

It didn’t happen overnight. It took 200+ years. It’s a natural process. It’s an imperfect system that decayed inevitably.

Face it, brother, if the people of this nation—who are the sovereigns of this Republic—elect this little Marxist and provide him a vast democrat House and Seante, this is no longer a great nation, just another euroweenieland in the slide toward mediocrity.

A sincere thank you to you for your service to our country. There are still roughly half of us that have half-a-brain and some sanity. I for one will make sure that my children understand the sacrifice you and other soldiers made and that our country as it was designed by our Founders is worth fighting for.

We sat back and let the marxists and the deconstructionists, the leftist teachers’ unions, the global warming (really anti-capitalism) true believers and the gay lobby take over the schools. We just turned them over to the the likes of Bill Ayers and Ward Churchill and other, slicker, stealthier left-wing types, from kindergarten through PhD level university courses, and now we are reaping what they have sown: A couple of generations of people who think in slogans, who know all about birth control but nothing about history or human nature, and have the political understanding of 7-year-olds.

You sound about my age with a very similar background. Desert storm vet myself. I’ve been aware, (as you probably are), that the country was lost several years ago.

IF McCain loses, this makes it more official. I won’t be surprised either way, frankly.

Luckily, it doesn’t look like they’ll get a super senate majority, but what does that matter if we have 2-3 RINO’s that vote hypocrat anyway? HOPEFULLY Saxby Chambliss wins in my homestate and others to offset this very dangerous development.

We’re becoming balkanized. AND more divided than ever, not closer, and my take on this is because Christian values are being eroded. Govct schools ahve done a bang up job prosyletizing their godless socialism, homosexual values, etc. etc. etc.

My 8 year old just came in to tell me she’s shocked by two men marrying on “Whose wedding is it anyway”? She doesn’t usually watch this show and I’ve never seen it but it’s off limits to her now. What’s so SAD is something like HGTV is off limits as well because of their efforts to normalize homosexuality.

I firmly believe God is still in control though, but having said that, this country has lost the favor of our Lord and I can’t say I’m surprised. People have their free will and it shows.

I’ve been saying for weeks now to forget about wars, the economy, ALL our problems COMBINED simply pale in comparison to the fact that this contry has a PROFOUND mental health crisis on it’s hands!

And this is how I’ll continue to respond to this madness, as the only other plausible explanation is outright demonic possession/oppression.

When 35% of white evangelicals vote for “the one”...you can tell something is “in the air” as a Christian, the Bible fortelling even the elite are going to be fooled.

No one knows the end times or who the anti-Christ is, but the hypocrat party as a body fits the bill!

But I will not give up hope on this great nation, not yet, too many people have fought to hard for her and I will until I’m planted in the ground, same for my kids, I will fight for them. Literally.

But I’m with you, if McCain loses, I can firmly say for the first time in my adult life I will be ashamed FOR this great country, but never OF it.

Sir, we may be down but we are not out. Half the country (or thereabouts) voted against Socialism and the nanny state. For the next two years, the Democrats will have no one to blame but themselves for ANYTHING that goes wrong. The MSM will have no one to blame but themselves. And the other half will have no one to blame but themselves.

The one thing I will say is that the ZERO will never be my president, NEVER!!! Thank God we pledge allegiance to the United States and not to a President. He will never get my allegiance and if any Republican comes out and says "we need to come together for the good of the country", to hell with them!!!

I’m going to repeat this a lot tonight.

1- It ain’t over til it’s over.
2- Even when it’s over, it ain’t over.
3- There will be lawsuits, I hope, due to ACORN and other voting irregularities. All we can hope for is Honest Judges.
4- We had to live through Jimmy Carter to get to Ronald Reagan, and we can live through 4 years of Barry Obama to get to the likes of Sarah Palin.
5- WE became too complacent and we didn’t start the VETTING process soon enough or with enough vigor. EVEN IF WE SOMEHOW PULL OUT A WIN THIS TIME, the Socialist-Marxists will STILL think they can overpower us in 4-more-years. If they win this time, the American Public will get so ticked off at Democrats that they won’t have a chance in the White House for at least another 16-20 years (the length of a person’s recall).
6- IF Barry Obama wins, we still hammer at our Congresspeople regularly and vigorously. We send emails, we send snail mails, we keep up with CSpan and everything going on in Congress. AND we watch what our various States are doing.
7- WE have got to stay political. It’s no longer just a game, it is Survival. We Can Live Through 4 Years Of Barry Obama.
8- No matter what he promised, he’s got nearly a Trillion Dollars in Bail Out on His Plate and he will ultimately be responsible for what happens with that, not George W Bush. And WE need to make sure, with letters to the editors, that the Public is made aware of just whose responsibility it is. And we also need to play “devil’s advocate” when he proclaims that he “can’t” do something he promised to do while running for President. WE need to remind the lemmings that Obama promised . . . and now he’s reneging. So what else did he LIE about?
9- WE have the advantage over an Obama Presidency. We know what’s going on and he is clueless. USE IT to our advantage. Inundate his office with letters and emails for every mistake he makes, for every misstep he makes. Call him on his errors and Quote History Books.
10- WE know how to use the Internet to our advantage! And we will do so. Maybe an Obama Presidency is just what WE need to shake us up and make us get serious about the USofA.

Now, lock and load and be vigilant. And don’t nobody try to take my State Retirement away from me.

I am absolutely sick over how things are going. And I thought it was bad when Clinton won the first time? The only thing that saved me, was to listen to Rush’s optimism the next day.. I wonder what he is going to say tomorrow.

And the other thing that bothers me is what the country is going to have to face to realize what a mistake they have made. What is going to be the turning point, what horror, where the American people finally see that the Dems have ruined this one great country.

I’m not happy Hussein won but I am glad McCain lost. Should I wake up in the morning to news that McCain actually won, I’ll be happy that Hussein lost.
