Obamanomics is based on the morally repugnant class warfare principle of setting aside a group of people called "the rich," who are to be pillaged and exploited for the sake of everyone else. Under Stalin, to qualify as rich you only needed to own more than one samovar (a device for brewing tea found in most Russian homes); people were actually shot if government inspectors found a second samovar in the home of a "kulak" ("rich peasant").
Obviously imposing excessive taxation on "the rich," however they are defined, will cripple the economy as a whole, making everyone more miserable. It isn't the poor who invest and employ — it is the demonized rich.
But before we even reach that point, there is the problem that the grandiose schemes of egomaniacal socialist dictators tend to cost more than even the rich can pay. This is why the definition of "rich" slides downward until you find yourself dragged off by thugs over a samovar.
Obama has promised that he will only loot families that make more than $250,000 per year, showering their money down upon the rest of us by offering "tax cuts" even to people who don't pay any federal taxes. But what's this? The Moonbat Messiah hasn't even been elected and already the mark has been moved down to $200,000:

His voting record shows he already defined it down to $40k- $250, $200, or $150 (it keeps dropping) are just focus group numbers with no basis in the reality of his record.
What’s worse is the fact that nobody seems to know if that’s gross or net. Regardless, I’m sure he really means “anyone with a paycheck or a business”.
$100,000. Do I hear $100,000? Who will bid $100,000 on Marxism? - the American fools in the far left corner.
$50,000, do I hear 50,000? Who will bid 50,000 on "Change we can believe in"? The malcontents and miscreants hiding in the shadows.
$25,000, do I hear 25,000? Who will bid $25,000 on "the redistribution of wealth"? The druggies and felons flooding our prisons.
$12,000, who will bid $12,000?...
Isn’t the $250K (or $200K or $150K) for couples with dual incomes? If so, for an individual isn’t it half that? Half of $150K is $75K. It doesn’t sound so pithy when Obama says “I don’t know any plumbers making $75,000 a year!” does it?
And is it Single filing status or Married Filing Jointly?
If the latter, then it will REALLY hammer lots of families.
Hmmm...I like the Kulak metaphor. Has a ring of truth to it. Ol’ Stalin really took a dump on the poor Kulaks, because they were “rich”, just like Uncle Barack is suggesting.
And considering that the Dem-run county we live in keeps raising home tax assessments, it's likely goodbye decent neighborhood, too. Goodbye safe neighborhood; guess we'll have to move back to the old gang-infested, falling down neighborhood we lived in when we were just starting out.
If Obama is elected, we're going to have to ask for pay cuts so we don't creep into the next bracket.
Expect an exorbitant number of prison commutations and pardons. Black Liberation Theology preaches that prisons are concentration camps for black men to keep them out of society.
. . . To continue from my previous post, I believe there will be so many of them released that they will cause anarchy. After all, their savior is freeing them when they themselves know darned well that they are guilty criminals. He may even go so far as to commute all death sentences, as well. Just my thoughts--no resource on this subject.

I am becoming so resentful of communists. U.S. workers are supposedly the most productive in the world. I believe the reason is because so many corporations take advantage of their salaried personnel, of which I am one. My next salary increase in January will probably put me over $90K--and I am now single. However, I often have weeks where I work 30% overtime--without pay or time off. Supposedly, that's why they "pay us so much." Why should I be working my tail off for more of my money to be confiscated (stolen) to give to others? I built my career (by the Grace of God) as a single mother with two sons, from the time they were 6 and 10 years old (18 years ago). I don't see room in my budget for the reversal of the Bush tax cuts, much less additional cuts to share my "wealth."

1993 saw a tax hike on the wealthy (via two new brackets at the top), and then 2001 through 2003 saw a series of tax cuts that lowered the tax brackets as follows:
