In Support of Fred

I finally decided to come out and support a candidate, all the way. I've always leaned toward Thompson ever since I heard he was thinking of running, but decided to give the other guys due diligence. I have, and I am a bigger Thompson supporter because of it. I should list the reasons when I have more time, but it came down to four issues of equal importance: National Security, Illegal Immigration, Gun Rights, and Judicial Nominations. The rest was icing on the cake, Fred is a fiscal conservative willing to cut spending, even the political hot potato called entitlement spending.

The negatives I took into account, and they were trivial compared to the other candidates'. Ron Paul is an exception, he has a virtually flawless record, but I ruled him out because of his foreign policy ideas.

Well, now you know where I stand. So expect some pro-Fred coverage and consider this my full disclosure. And if you're so inclined, donate to Fred's campaign through the conspicuous link in the sidebar.

Do you think that this has come in " Just in Time " for Fred for Iowa, NH, and SC ?
Fred is going to need people to give to his campaign now, he needs it.

If some blogger named Stan made up his mind, then I don’t have to worry about the election or the choices. After all, he has a BLOG.

If FRED supporters would give some of the “dusty” money and if the NRA, Rush, and Fox would get off their asses, get behind FRED and quit pushing liberal republicans down our throats, we could have the Arkansas PREACHER DEMOCRAT gone before Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas present that would be.
If we would all fight hard to convince these people in Iowa and SC what a total and utterly disaster the Huckster is we could get it done.

I’m doing my part. You do yours.

If he does manage to get the nomination it would splinter the Republican Party (which by the way is just about insignificat today), one leaning liberal/populist and the other True Conservatives.

Now ..put that in your pipe and smoke it... Republican Party officals.

The Republican Party doesn’t support any presidential candidate until the nomination is won. And that’s the way it should be.

We can sort this out amongst ourselves without anyone annointing the future nominee.
