I see they died with their eyes open. Their last view in life was of a Marine and something fast and shiny.

Powerful recitation, Red; thank you and thanks to Nat Helms.
Don’t know if anybody caught the language of the letter you posted, but based on my recollection of two high-school years, it appears to be a group of different Greetings from some Jihadists to their German families. “Wie gehtes” is ‘How are you’ — “Ich liebe Dich” is ‘I love you’. Other words are recognisable but I don’t know enough to translate them.
Definitely shows that they were fighting more than local patriots defending their homeland from foreign invaders.

Excellent article by Nat Helms. Very descriptive of the battle for Fallujah.
Fallujah was total war no quarter was offered and none was given. Pretending now it was something else is simply silly.
The actions by the NCIS agent, Mark O. Fox seem overblown unless it's just part of their intimidation game when they don't have much of a case.Nazario was
- Lured into the police station under FALSE pretences
- Stripped of his gun and badge
- Handcuffed by two NCIS Special AgentsService
- Forced to take a humiliating perp walk past his fellow officers
- Then fired.
Nicely done, Special Agent Mark O. Fox. /s
Jaz, you wondered if part of the reason he managed the "arrest" this way was to satisfy an inflated ego. Here are the qualifications for the NCIS agent, Mark O. Fox that he posted in the affadavit. He is a Special Agent with NCIS since April, 1982. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco, Georgia.
Since I've not really read any affadavits previously, does anyone know how typical it is to put in this kind of info in an affadavit - particularly the part about his BA in Pol. Science? Is this pertinent to anything in the affadavit?
