Saying that Roe vs. Wade is bad law and bad science doesn't refute his 13 year old statement that "Government should stay out of it. No public financing. The ultimate decision must be made by the woman. Government should treat its citizens as adults capable of making moral decisions on their own."

Of course it does. Your rhetorical gymnastics look ridiculous.

"Of course it does."

No it doesn't.

Removing Roe v. Wade from the question of abortion in no way impacts his idea that the woman is ultimately the only individual who MUST make the decision on whether to abort or not.

Additionally, the citizen remains a citizen AND an adult whether standing before the Federal or State governments, so according to Thompson, BOTH levels of governments MUST treat the individual as an adult capable of making the "moral decision" to abort.

Rhetorical gymnastics? This is from someone who doesn't know the difference between gun grabbing and gun control.

As an aside and since I just mentioned the issue, I might as well add that Ronald Reagan not only signed the biggest abortion bill at the time, but also signed a major gun control bill during his tenure as Governor of California, and I don't hear anyone calling him an “abortionist” (not that you use that term) and a gun grabber while he was Governor of California.

It was Governor Ronald Reagan of California who signed the Mulford Act in 1967, "prohibiting the carrying of firearms on one's person or in a vehicle, in any public place or on any public street." The law was aimed at stopping the Black Panthers, but affected all gun owners.

Twenty-four years later, Reagan was still pushing gun control. "I support the Brady Bill," he said in a March 28, 1991 speech, "and I urge the Congress to enact it without further delay." link

As California governor, Reagan in 1967 signed one of the most liberal abortion laws in the country, legalizing the procedure in cases where a woman's mental or physical health was at risk. link

Of course, this is not to change the subject, but to emphasize that rhetorical gymnastics and hateful name-calling have been the regular tools of the Rudy opponents on FR, not so much with his supporters.

As for the rest of your post, Luis has already answered you.

By the way, good posts, Luis.
