North Carolina might be slightly more appropriate for that.
The costs should be limited to Durham County. Teach those people a lesson in civics.
And WRAL said it will be PUBLIC.
For a guy (Nifong) who was supposedly 'hard wired' to the NYT, he must be persona non grata now.
Remember just a couple weeks ago, Nifong was quoted as saying "I'm not making any statements to the press."... virtually at the same time he was doing a multi-hour interview with the NYT.
"You can't make this stuff up!"
My thoughts exactly.
Oh, please let there be cameras in the court room....if not, are there any NC freepers who can go and report? (We've already decided. LOL)
"88" is a code used by Nazi skinheads. Seems Duke has their own Nazis. Was their choice of 88 signatures a Freudian slip?
LOL
Why did I immediately think of the Salem witch trials???
I guess some people never get over Fort Sumter ...
FROM LINK POSTED:
'When asked what they would say to Nifong if he were in the room, Rae Evans, the mother of indicted player David Evans, says, "I would say with a smile on my face, 'Mr. Nifong, you've picked on the wrong families
and you will pay every day for the rest of your life.'
RUN NIFONG RUN!
WOW...that was some article!
What is the significance of "88"?
Anybody else know about this:

NEW 60 MINUTES SEGMENT ON DUKE CASE THIS SUNDAY.
88 Nazis at Duke lynched the Lacrosse players.
Per Greta's show tonight: Female prosecutor from Florida said that ALL the prosecutors in Nifong's office who had looked the other way while he was doing what he has been doing should be held accountable and prosecuted themselves!
Nifong's paycheck won't be effected....he's not in private business. As far as Nifong's attorney....I'm sure it's someone who "owes him" and/or the DA's office pays for it.
I have an acquaintance who was disciplined. His choice was to pay a $1000 fine or fight it. It was a VERY minor matter....related to keeping records for six years. Easier to pay the fine because it would cost him more in lost work time.
Oh, I see....thanks.
I agree with her, but doubt that will happen; sadly.
