Pawlenty the Gov and our Senator Norm Coleman both could be formidable VP candidates. Hate to lose them from their offices but to get Minnesota Red for the 1st time since 1972......

I'm not willing to give up that Senate seat, & I'm not real keen on losing that Governorship either. That can't be all you have. Are any of the "I"s in the "I-R" party any good? That might pick up some centrists. I'm really leaning towards Allen being the candidate, which would mean NOT another Southerner for VP. A Midwesterner would work fine, and MN's the easiest flip (IMO) of the current blue states.
