Actually, on that part of the border, Canada is our neighbor to the south. They get a big kick out of that in Windsor. Along the riverfront, there's a marker in the spot that's due south of Detroit.
"Awe shucks, I know its a good question but we get so few chances to be ibtz. Can't we just zot him alittle?"
Play nice. LOL
You can all relax....just go 2 miles in any direction into
the city of Detoliet from Ford Field...and it looks like
the city has been attacked and destroyed. This would confuse
any would be terrorists.
From: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1564520/posts?page=6
"An unspecified number of Canadian border agents, who are unarmed, left their posts during the incident because they were concerned about their safety, said Paula Shore, a spokeswoman for the Canada Border Services Agency. Managers took over and security was not compromised, she said."
Check out this latest incident. Imagine what they'd do in the midst of a terrorist attack. I bet the new Conservative Govt. acts quickly to issue guns, especially after this.

Terrorist would love to attack the Superbowl. However, they will not. I cannot see them taking such a risk on a day when security will be so high. They have always hit us when we least expect it, when they have a better chance to succeed.. The Superbowl will be safe.. Security measures are planned years before the event even takes place.. Arizona has already been planning for security for the 2008 Superbowl.
It is not to say an attack could not happen somewhere else on that day to draw attention away from the game.. but i think one of the safest places to be that day will be in Detroit.
Wrong. Dearborn has the largest population of Arabs outside of the middle east.
nobody knows where dearborn is
very encouraging to hear. also a good sign that Condi will be at the game. however, if something "comes up" that prevents her from attending...then we should rethink the safety issue.
